Simply Unforgettable lives up to its name. As soon as you drive up to the pet-friendly log cabin, with its walkway over a delightful little creek, you’ll be charmed. And once you step inside and see its amenities—including fireplaces, a pool table, a two-person multigame arcade table and an indoor jetted tub—you’ll be positively delighted. Also delightful is its location: serene, seemingly secluded, yet just five minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.

Newly rebuilt,Simply Unforgettable all but sparkles from its lustrous wood floors, walls and its stainless-steel kitchen appliances. Large picture windows let in plenty of sunshine during the day, and on brisk winter evenings the gas fireplace will bathe the great room in golden warmth. The log-style furnishings and the plush leather seating add to the welcoming rustic ambiance, while the large flat-screen TV with cable and the free Wi-Fi are just a few of the cabin’s modern-day comforts.

Simply Unforgettable is close to scores of restaurants, but once you see the fabulously equipped kitchen, you may want to cook at least a few meals. It’s always more fun to cook in someone else’s kitchen! Brew coffee in the morning, whip up margaritas at night, and in between channel your inner Top Chef!

Located in the loft, the game room offers something for everyone. A full-sized pool table, a multi-game two player arcade table, a flat-screen TV and windows looking out onto lush woodlands. Sharing the space is a queen-size bed. If you’re vacationing with the kids, they’ll jump at the chance to sleep here. Who wouldn’t want an arcade table in their bedroom The loft also comes equipped with a full bathroom. As well as a washer and dryer.

The second bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor. This primary suite opens directly onto the rear deck, so you can step out late at night to stargaze with that special someone—perhaps as you luxuriate in the deck’s roomy hot tub! If you prefer to soak indoors, you can do that too. The en-suite bathroom has a jetted tub as well as a walk-in shower. Afterward laze on the queen-size bed, basking in the glow of the gas fireplace, or that of the wall-mounted TV. What’s more, the great room sofa opens into another queen-size bed, so that Simply Unforgettable can sleep six people and two pets!

Because Simply Unforgettable has both a front porch and a back deck, you’ll have ample opportunities to relax amid the burbling of the creek, the fresh mountain breezes, the singing of chickadees in the morning and the chirping of tree frogs at night. While the rear deck hot tub might be a favorite perch for relishing the scenery, the Adirondack-style rocking chairs are wonderful for kicking back with coffee in the morning and cocktails at night.

The cabin’s setting is so rustic, you’ll find it tough to believe just how close it is to the area’s attractions. In only five minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, with its thrill rides, shops, mini golf, distilleries, arcades, aquarium and other attractions. Equally close is the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios and shops. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 10 minutes from Simply Unforgettable. Once there you can hike, bike or ride horses among its flora, fauna and waterfalls. You will find Dollywood is merely 15 minutes away.

Wonderful, secluded cabin with plenty to do for the whole family. Loved the hot tub with the sound of the creek going by. Very close to all activities in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We will be returning the next time we are in the Smokies!

We loved the layout of the cabin. It was comfortable, plenty of room to spread out. Close to town, but secluded.

Near other cabins, but still very private & just a short drive to downtown gatlinburg. There’s a small water feature to the front & back of the cabin that sounds neat. We saw a bear while on the back deck. Cabin appeared clean. Giving a 3 star because upon arrival the cabin had an odor (slightly like cat urine that we couldn’t pinpoint exactly) possibly in the living room, which we immediately contacted Jackson Mountain rentals about on a Sunday PM. They responded with an apology & told us they were contacting property management & housekeeping right away to address this. On Mon. AM we sent them another message about it. Tuesday AM they sent us a message they “wanted to follow up about an issue (we) reported…and it appears a technician came out to assist.” After some back & forth we learned that someone may have come to the cabin the day prior while we were away from the cabin to address the smell that was “a bit musty.” We told them it appears the same & probably needs addressed more than once. Their response was “one moment while we look into this.” Never heard anything more from them the rest of our stay. We’ve stayed in other cabins maintained by other companies/cleaning services & never experienced this mediocre hospitality. I feel sad while writing this because the cabin is in a great spot.

Beautiful location. Plenty to do. The creek was nice but the men that you have to do yard work, didn't even pick up the trash from the creek. Also the bathtub jacuzzi was horribly dirty. We cut the jets on and a black moldly looking substance came out. We did not use because of this. Just gross. There was toothpaste still in the sink from the previous guest. The washer is filthy. The outside of the fridge was grimy. All the faucets too. Throughout the house. I spent almost an hour cleaning on our arrival to make it healthier for my family. Also. Minor but it needs a serious dusting, blinds and wood and the outside of the house and windows are covered in cobwebs. We did enjoy our time. But it was less than we expected.

This little cabin was great! The property is nestled back far enough to seem secluded but also very close to the gatlinburg strip. All the fun, none of the noise. Wild life is abundant, the brook that runs around the property is relaxing and the cabin itself is cozy decked out with all the amenities we needed. Definitely would recommend for small families or couples that want to get away but still be close to the strip and other areas.

Perfect location near town but surrounded by nature! We would absolutely stay here again! Nice cabin with all the amenities. The only thing lacking were towel bars and/or hooks in the bathrooms.

The cabin was nice the location was perfect the only things that the owners need to do is put towel holders up and bathroom rugs to step out on and the shower curtain lowered to come all the way down so water won’t come on to the floor and fix the end of the driveway cause if you have a low riding car your gonna drag bottom even in a suv it’s a ruff entry.

My husband and I visited this area for the first time. The easy process made things even more enjoyable. Don’t forget to bring coffee filters like we did. I like the location of the home very much. It was a great Smokey mountain Xmas for us. Thank you.
