Bryson City, North Carolina
Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This rental has everything you need. We even allow dog(s), limit 2, we do charge a $60 pet fee. There is a BBQ grill outside with a large deck for enjoying the weather and morning coffee. This property is secluled with a Hot Tub that is located at the end of the cabin.
**please note- this getaway has a steep gravel driveway that can be tough to make it up when it rains. I have a front wheel drive and have no issues if I use a lower gear. 4wd suggested, but not required. We are not responsible for damages.
We had a great stay at the Shady Creek cabin. The cabin was comfortable, very clean, and in a quiet location. It was a perfect base for our trip to Smoky Mountains NP and had everything we needed. It also was very easy to get to downtown Bryson City. The hot tub was a great added bonus! Troy was very accommodating, kind, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Shady Creek!
It was perfect for a weekend getaway!!
Cute little cabin. Quiet and relaxing location. Close drive to fun.
Easy to get in and out of cabin. We stayed for Thanksgiving very roomy and kitchen worked without any problems. We would recommend this place very much.
Great little cabin for our small family weekend mountain getaway. We were on the go for most of the time (hiking/site seeing), so it was perfect for us. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long day and recover sore muscles. The host was very responsive and accommodating!
We arrived on Thursday and checked out on Sunday. We met the host shortly after arriving. He was kind and helpful. Everything was in working order. The hot tub was AMAZING. Check-in and checkout was easy. We were pleased with our stay overall.
My wife and I spent a few days here for a quiet vacation before winter hit. We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay! Perfect size for a couple. Location was great, within minutes of Bryson City. Highly recommended and the owner was great to work with. Very nice view if you come when the trees are bare.
Short stay but was clean and had everything I needed. Loved the hot tub and the remoteness. Just what I was looking for
The hot tub was out of service! We were not made aware of the fact beforehand and were looking forward to using it. If listed as an amenity, it should be actually included in our stay or at least the renters should be made aware beforehand. It was misleading. Additionally the outside of the cabin was not the most clean, spider webs and debris all over the porch. There were duct tape covering cracks in the window and a weed smell in the cabin upon arrival (we sprayed lysol to help). There seemed to be a limit to the hot water… which thankfully there were only two of us so the water only got cold halfway through the second person showering. In the 20 degree cold this is not ideal. Additionally if there are more than two people, good luck taking a hot shower! Overall it was okay. not the best but it was fine for a short weekend getaway.
