The wrap around deck is perfect for year-round star gazing.

Extremely Quiet. Very clean. Beautiful drive. Surrounded by trees. Excellent amenities. Just what we were looking for.
Loved it. The property laced WiFi or TV, but in the end….that turned into a positive!
Just what we were looking for, simple, clean, quiet cabin. The porch and deck were wonderful! Very close to the park for hiking and the river for canoeing. Great stay.
Great spot and exactly what we were looking for. It was right next the the caverns so we checked out the caves while we were there. Place was super clean, had everything we needed, and we spent every morning on the covered porch. Thanks again!
Looked for a quiet place in the mountains for the holiday. This cabin is in the Massanutten Mtns and just a short distance from Luray, and Luray Caverns. Had a wonderful time at Page Theater, reminded me of the theaters I went to as a child. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cardinal Cabin.
Please read all of description. Because I did not do that me and my fiancée could not take showers the 1st night because there are no towels or linen provided. That was totally my fault. The stay was great the cabin is very clean and spacious and comfortable for a weekend getaway.
Cardinal Cabin allows you enjoy the beautiful mountains and relax on the porch as you listen to the birds and wind. We appreciated a quiet anniversary weekend and were very thankful for the break. We hiked and enjoyed an afternoon kayaking down the Shenandoah River. The place was clean and well kept. The description was accurate and we had everything we needed ahead of time to make the stay stress free. Thanks for give us wonderful anniversary memories!
We had a great time and enjoyed the cabin which was cozy and comfortable.
It was a nice cabin very clean and well kept. We loved the screened in porch.
Very beautiful area - thanks!
Overall stay was great. Perfect distance from town. The only real complaint was the smell of the water, especially in the shower. Some updated movies and CD's would be nice since there is no internet or cable TV.
We love the area and were glad to have easy access to beautiful spots.
No dishwasher. Water had a fowl odor. Had to wash cookware, dishes, utensils prior to use. Having to take our own trash upon leaving is wrong. Futon at entrance hinders the main door. Overall cabin had a bad smell. Cleanliness was simply poor indoors, screened in area, and remainimg deck. No grill. We will not return to this rental.
What a great place this cabin is! My grown daughter and I planned a Mother's Day weekend away from our husbands. (Her goft to me)! We planned to hike the Shenandoahs, but the rainy weather made that impossible. So we really got to enjoy the cabin, spending LOTS of time on the fabulous porch! Surrounded by majestic , vibrant green trees, and beautiful sounds of songbirds made it a peaceful retreat. And we had fun exploring the cute town of Luray. Gaylynn was very easy to communicate with, answering my many pre-trip questions and recommending a cozy dinner spot. A perfect weekend!
All around great experience. The cabin was clean and close to many fun things to do. Thank you so much. We would really like to return to do the things that we didn’t get to do. Would definitely like to rent the same cabin. Loved the screened in porch.
Cardinal cabin was beyond what I expected, amazing property owners so thoughtful. We were celebrating my son's 6th birthday and they sent a gift from Amazon to home, he was so happy!! Everything immaculately clean, screened in porch so peaceful and perfect for yoga and meditation, also eating with family outside just added treat. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this cabin for comfort, peace and short distance from everything, cooters garage, Shenandoah Park, luray and skyline caverns. Don't miss out.
