Serenity Comes with a View — Welcome to “Peace of the Mountain”

My husband, heeler and I had a great time! The cabin was on a beautiful mountain and so very cozy. The couch is so comfortable and warm in front of the fireplace. It was perfectly stocked with firewood! The overlooking porch was breathtaking and loved drinking my (well stocked) morning coffee. The pool table/air hockey table was so fun!

Everything was great, awesome views, clean cabin, very comfortable.

The house is wonderful, the views are amazing, beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is set up with just about anything you would need. Highly recommend.

Great location, close to everything we wanted to do for the weekend. The hot tub on the back deck was fantastic!

We loved this beautiful cabin! It’s in a quiet area with a few cabins around but feels very secluded. The views are spectacular and we really loved enjoying them while sitting on the deck each day. The house was immaculately clean and was well equipped. It was also decorated nicely! Beds were comfortable too. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of extras if you plan to do so. There was even a sample of local coffee which was a nice touch! As others have mentioned, do not use GPS for getting to the cabin. The directions the host gave work much better! The drive is a bit of a challenge if you’re not used to gravel mountain roads, but after the first trip up and down, we had it figured out! Would love to stay here again in the future!

Overall, the cabin was great; however, the online description of the bed layout was not accurate. I contacted the property manager to let them know.

Beautiful cabin, comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped. Unable to access lower deck. 3 acre lot is beautiful and amazing views, but too steep to utilize.

We enjoyed our stay and the rental was just as advertised. There was beautiful view and the directions that were sent were excellent and very detailed which made finding the rental very easy. In great proximity to many locations and we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here! The cabin had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. It was so nice to sit in the hot tub and look up at the stars.

Perfect weekend in the Mountains! We booked the Polar Express with friends and decided staying in a Cabin would workout best. Cabin was about a 20 min drive to Bryson City. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you might need (keurig, smart tv, WiFi, vacuum, and lots of towels). There was one major hill/sharp turn to get up the mountain and thankful to be in a truck. There were lots of lady bugs and stink bugs, but nothing we couldn’t handle. The wood burning fireplace was great with plenty of firewood provided. View was spectacular. The kids loved getting in the hottub. We also loved all the Christmas decor! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Our stay was absolutely magical!! Stunning views and being so close to Bryson City was wonderful. Only issues we came across was difficulty finding the cabin- we drove in circles for a while until contacting guest services who were very helpful! There were several lady bugs in the cabin that we could have done without. But other than that, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay! 10/10 recommend!

We have enjoyed our Fall Vacation at this cabin for several years. Spectacular view. Beautiful cabin. Looking forward to coming back. ❤️

My wife and I spent 5 wonderful nights in this incredible cabin. The views were beautiful and the cabin offered an amazing peace that only comes from mountain therapy. Enjoy the local eateries, shops and attractions. The GSR offers a great look into the past and the park is a short drive. What a vacation in an amazing getaway!

The cabin is lovely and the view from the deck is spectacular. However, if you are not truly familiar with driving on gravel roads with no guard rails and no street lights whatsoever, it is really scary as this house is pretty far up. The game room is really only a small loft with a lot of stairs to get up there and it is just a miniature table with insufficient room to use the pool sticks properly without hitting the wall or your head on the slanted roof. The firepit is down a steep incline and not easy to get to at all. The kitchen and downstairs bedrooms were well appointed and user friendly. We appreciated having laundry facilities on site. We enjoyed the hot tub although the temperature was not really hot. The best part of this particular cabin was the view!!! That part is breathtaking.

This was an amazing and very memorable trip. We decided to go hiking and spend some time in the nature and we chose the Peace of the Mountain house. We loved every minute of it! House is specious, beautiful views and overall great time! A few notes, none of us had any cell service on the mountain, but thankfully wi-fi in the house was good. Everything worked great, they have everything you might possibly need available in the house. The first night we left a garbage bag in the bin outside and had a visitor who ripped it apart. Still not sure who it was, but we drove the our garbage to a nearby center not to risk having it again.
