Stayed Jul 16, 2025Was a very nice property for the price point . It could use a little updating and maybe a little maintenance. Had a great stay and overall everything you need is there. I would stay there again .

Stayed Jan 23, 2025This property was super nice and would recommend it to anybody who is looking to stay in the Packwood area. My only complaint would be that the tile floors made it really cold on your feet, but it’s not too bad if you had some thick socks.

Stayed Nov 28, 2024It was clean and cute, and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would mention is that the heating system is a bit tricky to use and slow to warm up. It only heats the kitchen, so the living room stays a bit cooler. Overall, the cabin is lovely and well-equipped for spending a few very comfortable nights.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025We love staying at Annie Alpine place, the place was close to Sunrise visitor center, and not too far away from Paradise area so it made visiting Mt. Rainier National Park pretty easy. The location was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and cozy to stay in. Cellphone service was poor when you stay at the place so make sure you have all the check in information saved before you get there.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Amazing stay! Super close to nearby hikes and about 45 minutes to the skyline hike in mt rainier! 8 minutes from Packwood which has a grocery store and a few restaurants. The house itself was so so cozy! It was less secluded that I thought based on the listing, there are other houses all around it. But not an issue. Make sure you receive check in instructions from the host prior to heading to the area as cell service is almost non existent once you arrive at the house. We did not receive the code to enter in advance so we called the host and she provided it. Also note that the house is 108 not 110 as noted in the listing. We had trouble finding it. Overall we loved this cabin and would definitely stay again!

Stayed May 23, 2025The A frame is very spacious inside and cozy. The kitchen is perfect for cooking your own meal or keeping items for hikes or sightseeing in the area. The upstairs loft has a comfortablr bed and a bunkbed too. Has a heater upstairs and a gas fireplace downstairs that keep it very warm. Big front deck is a great place to relax, listen to the birds, and feels safe too. Good shower water pressure and hot water. Stairs up to the loft are really steep but with a solid railing. Would not recommend if you have trouble with mobility. Comfy living area. Would definitly come back. Great base of operations for doing long hikes in the area, and Packwood is a very friendly, welcoming place for chill people.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025The A-frame is described as cozy and it is! It if you have more than 2 people and have a short stay, it was difficult to store items and luggage bc of space. We did not carry our luggage to the upstairs bc the steps are narrow. But the manager did give good advice to go up and down steps as if you’re going up and down a ladder. The space was tidy and clean and had charm. I would definitely go back but I would stay with my husband and not 2 other adult friends because of space. We had difficulty finding the house and the host was great at answering our call and directing us in the right direction. The main door is hidden from the road. But the house has a sign that says Annie’s place on it which helped us find it.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025Stayed at this place for a weekend hiking trip and it was a very cozy and romantic cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked and was the perfect place to come back to and relax. I reached out to the property manager once asking for clarification of the address and she got back to me very quickly. Would stay here again! 10/10

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Great location to stay and cute town of Packwood. We hiked the Skyline Trail at Mt. Rainier National Park then enjoyed the Cannibal Hot Tub in Ashford. The deck was a nice place to relax at the end of the day.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024The property is close to Mt. Rainier and easy to access. The cabin was good for two people and could maybe fit a small group/family.
