Serene Riverfront Escape in Ellijay, Georgia!

This was our second time spending a long weekend in Ellijay at Happy Jacks and we just love it so much! This is not your typical bare bones, cabin.Not only is it very spacious, the beds are super comfy, the river lot is gorgeous and they have everything you could possibly need, on site! Aileen is also amazing to work with. We also saw plenty of deer, up close, both times!We will definitely be back again!

Accommodations were wonderful. The Cabin was clean and spacious, and the outdoor spaces were serene.

Beautiful location on the river! Large cabin that is perfectly maintained with lots of room for adults and kids. We loved sitting around the fire , listening to the rushing water and enjoying s'mores.

We have stayed at this cabin multiple times and always have a relaxing, wonderful stay. It's such a beautiful location. You won't regret booking this cabin.

The cabin was awesome. It was clean. Well-equipped with a grill and everything that we needed to make smores by the firepit. There are stairs for those who are not used to dealing with that but we were fine. It was well stocked with games for the kids to play. The host was very responsive to text and e-mails and very accommodating.

2nd time staying here and will surely stay again. Beautifully maintained home and property.

Our 3 generation family of nine each had the best time! We floated the river, fed the deer, played in the game room and relaxed and soaked in the simple beauty of this place as well. The cabin is fully equipped with everything needed and we were all very comfortable.

This cabin fit every one of our needs. We have a big family and travel once a year to Elijay in May. We were thrilled with the location. The house was awesome and was clean and decorated so cute. The sleeping arrangements are fantastic, as well as the game area and kitchen.

The cabin! The woods! The river! Such a relaxing environment that allowed us all to unwind. The outdoor seating areas on the property gave us places to hide-away and enjoy the woods. The deer that visited every evening were the most special. I believe we will be returning.

What an amazing stay!! We were greeted with a sweet welcome note and goodies, a family of deer that thought they were puppies, and the sound of the river. We enjoyed the city of Elijay, and surrounding cities, went on an amazing train ride, and ate loooottttssss of apples! Thank you for the enjoyment of your beautiful home!

Wonderful place to visit. The biggest issue I have is not in the home. It was wonderful.The issue was with the VRBO additional service charges. I will never use them again due to that fact.I have been concerned about the Vrbo rates for a few years but this one was a backbreaker. I will use you again.

My family (seven out of eight) had a wonderful stay at Happy Jack's Cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and more! The king beds were so comfortable and the decor in every room was tastefully done. Happy Jack's Cabin is in a gated community on a peaceful, private lot with the river flowing right by the cabin. We all enjoyed the wrap around porch and the game room was a big hit for us four adults and my three grandchildren. The cabin looks exactly as shown on the websites. Really can't say enough about this beautiful cabin (inside and out)! I would definitely rent again! Aileen is an excellent host/owner! Happy Jack's Cabin will definitely make your stay happy!!

I've stayed in dozens of vrbo homes and this one is Excellent! It had everything you could ask for and more. I spent a week here with my husband, father, and aunt and uncle. We were all very comfortable and cooked most meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We loved spending time just watching the river and wildlife. It was an amazing week! Would definitely stay here again.

If you want a beautiful cabin surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, this is the place for you.

Our party was 4 sisters and our husbands. Happy Jacks was the perfect venue for the annual get together. Scheduling was easy. As we approached the date Aileen was very informative and communicative. Happy Jacks was spotlessly clean the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The proximity to the river was perfect and we spent the majority of our time outside enjoying the perfect setting. Every evening was spent enjoying the fire pit and sometimes during the day. We kayaked and fished and had deer in the yard every day. Happy Jacks could not have been more perfect. Everyone raved about everything Happy Jacks had to offer.

The home and the community were great. This was our second year booking at Happy Jacks. The hosts are kind, helpful and make staying at the property a breeze. We drive from Florida— the facilities are well worth the drive. Everything was like it was presented in the advertisement, maybe even better. All of the furnishings were high class with a rustic flare. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked so we could prepare nice meals for our group. The resort facilities were plentiful. Happy Jack’s cabin was exceptional! Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, great location on the river and close to downtown Ellijay. The cabin was spacious and stocked with everything you need! We hope to go back soon!!

The property is very nice, the stream in the back of the property is great for hanging out with the family. Deer everywhere, so be careful when you have to drive. Overall a great location to detach from the everyday grind.

We had amazing time at this property. All of the amenities and the river view made this location absolute perfection. The kitchen was so well stocked, we had everything we needed to prepare meals. The whole family had a great time. We are definitely planning a return visit!

This place was everything we could have asked for and more. The home was more than efficiently stocked in every way.

Our family absolutely loved happy Jack’s cabin. Love the yard and being on the water we were able to do lot of activities within a half hour of the house. never saw so many deer in one place.

Well equipped and great place for the kids to hang out.
