Very nice place with lovely amenities, nice views, and plentiful walking trails. Fall color wasn't so good this year. Oh well.
Group of 7 friends staying over a weekend to ski at Stowe. Driving in and out was icy but doable for 4x4 vehicles. Spot was amazing overall. Bed's weren't super comfy for the bunk room, but they were doable. Master bed had a rattle in the radiator that they should look at.
Great experience plenty of space could use a second television in the cabin
This place is amazing will be back in the winter very cozy cabin great vacation
8 adult friends, loved the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house. Great gathering areas, screen porch, big table, outdoor patio. Was a delightful stay!
Overall the property was exactly what we all were expecting.. even the water situation we were expecting due to the comments but.. finding the property is a pain!!! It’s not even the correct road name or the correct number.. the stairs were extremely slippery and caked in ice as was the walkway and the heater in the basement broke on the first night leaving everyone down there absolutely frozen! Also for the price we paid it almost seems like a rip off considering the check in and check out times were outrageous check in at 4 and out at 10 we basically got one day at the house for about 1300k. Absolutely ridiculous. Overall very nice house but they definitely need to sort some stuff out
This place was amazing. It was aesthetically beautiful but also just felt solidly built, inside and out. It was a thoroughly modern cabin, It was also much bigger than it seemed. Hot tub right outside was amazing. Three bathrooms was clutch. Couldn’t recommend it more.
What a great house! We stayed four nights and had 8 people. The house was spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The water had a sulphur like smell, so bring bottled water. MUDROOM The huge mudroom was awesome to have for everyone to remove their ski gear and hang everything up. We closed the door and didn't have to look at a pile of jackets and ski boots in a corner. KITCHEN The kitchen was big and had most of the basics and some extras. A new Sponge and dish soap, 3 dishwasher soap tablets, one roll of paper towels were provided. Only one dish towel, so bring a few if you think you'll need it. We did a lot of cooking because for us it was easier with the kids. Our biggest complaint was that the oven did not always work. A pan of brownies was still liquid after an hour in the oven. The broiler did not heat up either. We made do with the stove top but not having a reliable oven was a definite con for us. The toaster was also not great, which was annoying for the kids when they wanted something toasted. Other than that, there were plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, measuring cups, etc. Dishes, bowls, mugs and glasses were plentiful. Also some containers if you need for leftovers. The microwave mysteriously shut off the morning we left but was fine during the stay otherwise. Don't leave food out on the counter, we had mouse droppings in the box of NutriGrain bars and one chewed up. (To be expected I guess out in the woods!) BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS Two bedrooms with queen beds on the first floor, big closets, extra blankets and plenty of towels (kinda small). Full bath on first floor with mini toiletries was a nice touch. Big bedroom upstairs with 3/4 bath and sitting area was nice. One of the kids liked to sit up there and watch his videos. Downstairs bedroom with 4 bunk beds was awesome for the kids. They loved it but said the beds weren't that comfortable. They all slept though so I take that for what it is. They loved the living room with smart TV and hung out down there together, which was great for the adults! Full bathroom down here too with shelves for everyone's stuff. LAUNDRY ROOM Big laundry room with a basket and drying rack. Found a bottle of Tide there too, should one be inclined to do a load. OUTSIDE Beautiful short hike took us to a little bench where you look through the trees and some gorgeous scenery. Snow shoes available which we tried out and were fun! But the shining star was the jacuzzi tub! It was clean and worked perfectly. We spent several hours in it while the snow was falling. Everyone lived it and it was the highlight of the stay at the house. In all, we had a fabulous time and would return. I gave the house 4 stars because of the oven not working but if you're not cooking then 5 stars! Some tips... Bring towels for the hot tub. The ones provided are small. The grill did not have any propane in the tank so we weren't able to use it. Bring matches for the wood stove, there were only 2 in the box left. If you're picky about your pillow, bring one. Feather pillows are on the beds and I slept terribly because of it but I didn't let it ruin my experience. Bring your bathing suit! The hot tub is not to miss.
Lovely home! We had a great time with our family. Great layout .
We had a great stay! The house was exactly what we were looking for. It snowed about 18” and the road and driveway were plowed and sidewalk was shoveled before we even woke up and very well maintained during our stay! Thank you for sharing your plan e with us!
