Stayed Feb 14, 2026Hands down THE best cabin experience we’ve had to date! We can’t wait to go back! This cabin was nestled at the mountain top with beautiful views and complete serenity. The property is very secluded and absolutely gorgeous! It was perfect for our romantic getaway but could be great for a family too. It's even fur family friendly! It truly felt like home away from home. This place had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of your needs if you want to cook like we did. There were lots of spices, coffee Kcups/drip machine and tea.Wonderful toiletries were provided in the bathrooms. The downstairs bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of fresh clean towels and throw blankets for those cozy nights next to the wood burning fire. Everything was clean and beautiful upon arrival. This was our first cabin that had a hint of modern style. It was perfect! The furniture and decor was very charming. The couch was so comfortable and huge! We had a cozy movie night in the upstairs loft which we loved! We had our breakfast on the upstairs balcony but there's also a big table outside on the grounds next to the bbq grill and fire pit. We never got to use the fire pit because the first day it rained ALL day! So we sat in that hot tub with our champagne for hours! It was amazing! Richard was the ultimate host! He was very communicative, friendly and helpful. PLEASE check your email on the day you are to arrive. The driving instructions are extrememly helpful!

Stayed May 22, 2025We spent a fantastic week at Bear Mountain Hideaway with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cabin is tucked away in a wonderfully secluded spot, offering incredible views from the deck that made the steep drive up more than worth it—just take it slow! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay—well-stocked for cooking meals, playing board games, enjoying the fire pit, and unwinding in the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were well supplied with plenty of towels. There were TVs and strong WiFi available, but we chose to unplug for the week and never even turned a TV on.The location was ideal—just the right distance from Sevierville and Gatlinburg for moonshine tasting, a stop at Red’s Soda Fountain, and some great shopping. It was also a short drive to scenic hiking trails and even a day trip to Cherokee, NC, to soak in the beauty of the area.Richard, the owner, reached out before our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and was available if anything came up (though we never needed to contact him during the trip). We’d absolutely return to Bear Mountain Hideaway—it was the perfect mountain getaway!

Stayed Feb 3, 2025The cabin was so relaxing, the bed was just right and we did not turn on the tvs. There is everything you need to make your own meals, body wash, shampoo, anything you forgot to pack it was thought of. The cabin was cozy, squeaky hardwood floors, and comfy. They even accomodated dogs, which was appreciated. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin!

Stayed Oct 27, 2024If you need seclusion, this is the cabin for you. It was at the top of the mountain so takes time to get up there. Once you are there, wow, it is quiet, peaceful! The hot tub is perfect. The house does need some maintenance and deep cleaning, but nothing that disturbed our stay. Overall, it was a great time! there.Once was rough gravel in a few places.

Stayed Jul 8, 2024Booked this cabin for a 3 night stay with my wife and 15 year old son and his friend. We had an awesome time. Modern and homey feel secluded with tons of room for all of us. The kids set up shop upstairs in the loft with their own area bathroom living area and bedroom. Wife and I took the master downstairs. Gave alll of us enough space to have our own time together and apart . Teens needed that. Wife and I needed that. Was pretty warm when we stayed so only used the hot tub once but was very nice. Sure it's better in the off months. Was clean and functioning. The entire cabin was immaculate and no signs of dust or debris. The views from the porch were awesome. We enjoyed a glass of whiskey enjoying the clouds colors and mountains. Had a nice outdoor fire pit and grill we also didn't use but nice features. Grill and fire pit were full and ready to go! Hosts Richard and Alyssa were awesome. They work with an evolve team as well so we received not only general check in instructions but also personalized text messages when we arrived and departed. I appreciate the personal touch from the owners themselves. We've done a few trips to the Smokey's and this was probably our favorite based on location value and overall experience. Clean and comfortable and roomy. About 25 minutes to Gatlinburg. We personally did the park two days and Gatlinburg two days. A nice mix of relaxation and touristy stuff. Well worth it beat two hotel rooms hands down. Thanks

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cabin was easily the best stay we have ever had. The location amazing and accessible to all the towns/park via short drives. Our stay was clean, secure, and more than accommodating to our needs. The hosts made certain our stay was memorable and special as we were celebrating a special moment during our stay. Everything you need to lock yourself away for a few days was provided. Plenty of towels and toiletries, fully stocked kitchen (new air fryer!), and laundry. There were games and books and Nintendo switch for some fun rivalry one night. The hosts checked in during travel to and Half way through the trip to make sure we had all the info we needed and were available to answer any questions that arrived- they even told us about some yard games they had available. The view was amazing, and we spent every evening on the porch watching a sunset in the rocking chairs. Plenty of wood for fireplace provided with starters, as well as fire pit prepared for lighting, and charcoal in the grill. They thought of everything!! The drive up the mountain is a tad tight and stressful if not used to driving up inclines, but was mostly paved and signs pointed the direction. (Make sure to look for Bear Mountain Hideaway as there is another Hideaway cabin listed) So glad we made the choice to stay here, and will return again as soon as we are able.
