Stayed Jun 6, 2025The Host despises communication, if you have any questions, inquiries, or even concerns forget it. She's very rude and snappy! If you're looking for a cozy friendly stay, this isn't it. We've stayed here once before and she was the same way, this last experience after contacting her about changing our stay due to inclement weather was the final straw. She's the type of Host that cares NOTHING about providing customer care to her clients. So if you book here, plane to have NO questions or concerns or even inquiries on ANYTHING! I strongly recommend booking elsewhere with more friendly, homely, vibes. Also, access to the cabins is on rough terrain. You'll likely need an SUV or Truck, I wouldn't recommend a car. You're best bet is to choose another locatoin!

Stayed Sep 2, 2022We absolutely loved this location!! Quiet spot in the county, close drive to both current river and downtown. The only suggestion would be to have a better selection of firewood.

Stayed Oct 14, 2025Hosts were welcoming, answered any questions we had, very responsive if needed; place was sweet, very clean, updated, and had everything we needed to make our stay a very pleasant one; kitchen well stocked with utensils, and the screened in porch was delightful. Firepit was a nice out doorsy touch!

Stayed Aug 15, 2025We had so much fun. The hosts were amazing. The food at the whiskey river outpost was delicious. My kids loved the tiny house so much that they wanted to buy it and bring it home with us so we could live in it.

Stayed Aug 4, 2025Beautiful, secluded tiny house tucked into the Ozark hills on a working horse ranch. We were lucky to be there when a large trail ride was passing through and got to watch riders come by all day. Very helpful hosts gave us our space but were available to assist with anything if needed. Bonus: ice cream was awesome!

Stayed Jan 24, 2025We stayed here just to get away for the weekend. We were blown away with how much we loved it. We were greeted by “Carl” the cat. Our stay was very quiet but full of sights. The horses are so fun to just sit and watch. We also had all 3 guard dogs come join us for dinner one night lol. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! We are definitely going to be coming back!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024I am 70 and did just fine going up very small steps to go to bed. 90% of my friends could not have climbed a ladder or the steps with a railing a few inches tall. This should be a warning for anyone renting this. We did fine, there were no problems except I felt the owner did not want me to bother them.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024We loved the scenery. Traveling up the mountain road and all the way down to the current river. Absolutely loved the craftsmanship of the cabin. It was beautiful. Owners were accessible if needed and gave great suggestions on places to visit.

Stayed Jun 9, 2024My friend and I stayed in the tiny house in June 2024 and I brought 1 horse with me to ride on the trails. The tiny house is super clean, it was very well made and decorated. Everything works and it’s nice to have a coffee maker there, pots and pans, kitchen utensils etc. All bedding is provided. The horse stalls very very safe and clean. There is over 300 miles of horse trails accessible from camp. We’ll be back!!

Stayed May 21, 2024The pry was the sleeping accommodation. We were told that there were two lofts, one with a ladder and one with stairs. Unfortunately my wife was not able to sleep in the bed because you had to crawl to reach the bed by the ceiling was so low. It was dangerous for me and I am a mobile retired person. We stayed two nights of the four we paid, couldn’t stand the thought of another night.
