Secluded Mountain Cabin - Pet Friendly - National Forest Access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is located close by to the town of Creede and it’s a great location for exploring the area. It’s up on a hill by itself so it does feel private. The pots and pans need to be replaced as they were full of scratches. Otherwise we found the cabin comfortable and well stocked. Would love for the owners to build a deck that guests could sit out on and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. We’ll probably rent it again.

Great location to visit Creede and the surrounding area. The big cabin windows give a great view of the mountains. We had deer visit almost every morning The kitchen is the most stocked of any rental we ever used.

The only thing it does not have is refrigerator staples. The furnishings are beautiful as well as the land surrounding it. There was so much to do just around the cabin. We adventured out to the American Basin, North Clear Creek Falls, Bachelor’s Loop, and to Love Lake to fish during our 4-night stay. I felt complete peace and serenity during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone searching for seclusion, yet also wanting fun daytime activities.

Initially we were just in town looking for a tucked away spot to relax while the kids went to theater camp. But once we realized how it back to national Forest and how happy our dog was to just hike right out the back door for a walk it made it so enjoyable and comfortable that it was worth every penny to extend our stay. Perfect in all regards. Fabulous books, well appointed kitchen, extremely well appointed bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Cozy nook and living room. They make very good use of the space and it easily accommodated our large family and pup. We really appreciated the swing the fire pit the picnic table and the deck. So much wildlife right out the windows you could spend all day just enjoying the view.
