Excellent 3 level Cabin with plenty of room. 5 nice bedrooms for quests and nice sitting areas. Great communication and super clean cabin. Nice location and use of local private lake was a nice add on. Plenty of parking space and room outdoors for games. Lots of golf courses near and the Tribute at Ostego is a for sure great golf couse.
After renting other cabins in Michigan this beats them all! Everything was clean and stocked even with condiments and various canned goods like coffee! Cannot beat three bathrooms for 10 people and right next to trails for our 4wheelers and our own private lake w loons! Close to water for boating and rafting-we loved it!
Wonderful home and well-stocked with everything you’d need. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that all of the necessities and then some were provided. The only negative is that there was no cell service until you drove a few miles.
Beautiful log cabin, very peaceful setting. Lots of things to do in the area
Very nice property with lots of room for the whole family! Nice yard and beautiful porch to enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of indoor games to keep everyone busy. Close to Bellaire (Shorts), Charlevoix, Traverse and Petoskey for day trips. Nice small private lake for a swim just a few miles away. We had a wonderful week of family time! WiFi was available, we just weren't able to make cell phone calls unless we went to the end of the driveway.
Great property Beautiful log home
We enjoyed the back woods feel of this property. It was clean and thoughtfully stocked with the renter in mind. There were lots of games;' board and virtual as well as game machine and wii with large TV's to play games on or watch together. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms had extra toiletries and were nicely kept. We cooked all our meals together and even enjoyed the charcoal grill. The deck, large porch and backyard are a wonderful oasis. There is a fantastic little beach near by that is part of the rental with sand toys, chairs, picnic tables, and swings. It has a sandy beach and our adult kids loved playing can jam together there and floating on the water with 3 loons always near by. We used the fire pit and enjoyed the memories made there. Town is 20 min. away and has all the stores and restaurants you could want. We found a wonderful park to play pickle ball, walk, mountain bike and run at in town called Aspen Park and there are also Elk to view there. We would highly recommend this park for families who want a beautiful time away in the woods with paved paths. We also enjoyed floating at Wah Wah Soo County park. There is no longer a beach there but there is a nice, sandy place to leave towels with a bench. Communication with the owner was efficient and pleasant. All and all we had a wonderful vacation with 11 adults and 2 babies. We would highly recommend this property if you want a get-away from internet and the rush of life or just a nice place to relax away from covid concerns!
Beautiful location and area away from the world. Easy access to a state park, a local lake, and nearby eateries.
Awesome week out in woods in this big cabin, just perfect. 1st part of week spent with friends and card playing. Hit a couple winerys and breweries. 2nd part of week spent with our kids and grandkids. Both groups went to Big Buck and loved it...The charcoal grill did great (we may go get one of those now :) ) Deb and Len's private lake beach was just perfect for us. You should hear our granddaughters echo a loon call now. :) This was just a perfect week to gather and escape the realities of this time (covid). The wine you left is my new favorite, once I tried it, I didn't want to share :) Thank you Deb and Len
