Stayed Oct 25, 2025The cabin waa convinent to hiking the Natural Bridge State Park. We were very disappointed to find the water in the hot tub was green when we arrived. I called the office and maintenance was there promptly to drain and refill the hot tub. It took 2 days to get to the ideal temperature.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new and cozy. Loved the location. Roads and driveway is easy. Enjoyed seeing deer on the property everyday. Hot tub was very clean and felt great after hiking every day. There’s a nice fire pit. Easy check in, no issues, did not need to contact host. Definitely would come back!

Stayed May 23, 2025This place was nearly perfect. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in. My only complaint is that I got a rash from the hot tub, even with showering before and after. To be fair the sign clearly states that it is not monitored by the health dept - use at your own risk. I would take my own test kit before using a rental hot tub again. Besides that, it really was a beautiful place to stay and we loved the location, check in was easy, and communication was friendly with quick responses.

Stayed Jan 24, 2025Cabin was very nice.Check in was ok, arrived at 4:15 and door was locked. Another group was there also, called number and girl said she didn’t hear anyone knock, there was nothing that said to they were there but we needed to knock.The cabin could have use some more clearing of snow for a safer entrance and nothing said anything about needing 4x4 which I had.It would be nice to have fish towels and dishcloth, and probably paper towels.But overall was a great stay.

Stayed Oct 22, 2024My bf and I had been to red river gorge before but this cabin was so much nicer and bigger. The beds were very comfy and the shower was nice! We enjoyed the hot tub and saw deer every night in our back yard. The parking was a little difficult but we made it work. We defintely will be back! Thank you!

Stayed Oct 3, 2024The cabin was nice except that the main bathroom had not been cleaned before we got there and the mattersses were very thin and uncomfortable. The main issue we had was the AC didnt work and we went without air conditioning until 9pm on our second day there .

Stayed Jul 29, 2024We had a very enjoyable stay at Big Bear Cabin. Fairly secluded, one other cabin close by. A nice quiet stay, we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Close to everything, Zipline tour, Under water Kayak tour, Red River Gorge, all the hiking trails. The cabin was very clean, beds were comfortable, highly recommend staying in this cabin.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Both rooms were very nice. We had a hard time deciding which one to pick! I would suggest bringing some bath towels. Only had one bath towel per person and they were on the small side. None for the hot tub. Hot tub was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. I would also suggest bringing Kleenex if you might want that. We brought DVD's and used them. They do have a few cable channels, just not a lot. Everything was in good working order. It's a cute place to stay.
