Welcome to Hidden Creek Cabin, your peaceful mountain retreat just north of Boone in beautiful Zionville, North Carolina. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Western Watauga County, this cozy yet spacious cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and mountain serenity.

Whether you're rocking on the porch listening to the sounds of nature, gathering around the fire pit under a sky full of stars, or unwinding in the hot tub after a day of exploring, Hidden Creek Cabin is the kind ofplace where memories are made.

The Mountain Experience

A short drive north of Boone brings you to this peaceful sanctuary surrounded by fresh mountain air and wooded views. Wake up slowly with coffee on the covered porch while listening to the nearby creek in the distance and wildlife moving through the trees.

Spend your days hiking scenic trails, exploring charming High Country towns, visiting local wineries, or skiing in the winter months. Come evening, gather around the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and share stories. When it’s time to head inside, light the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy a cozy night playing games or watching a classic VHS movie for a little nostalgic fun.

We want our guests to feel right at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals during your stay, including:

While you may hear the creek nearby, please note there is no direct access to the creek from the property. It is located on neighboring land and there is no path leading to it. Guests must not trespass onto neighboring property.

Hidden Creek Cabin is located in Zionville, just off Highway 421-N, offering peaceful surroundings while remaining close to major attractions.

You’ll enjoy being close to hiking, skiing, shopping, dining, and outdoor adventure while returning each evening to a quiet mountain retreat.

Important Details

Firewood
Firewood is available for purchase with at least one week’s notice.

You will receive:
Two wrapped kiln-dried bundles
One fire starter
Cost is $25 plus tax.

Driveway & Winter Access
The home has a gravel driveway with parking for 3 vehicles.
4WD or AWD is required during winter months November through March. It is the guest’s responsibility to be prepared for winter conditions. Refunds will not be provided due to lack of winter preparation.

Starter Supplies
All homes include a starter set of paper and toiletry products, which typically last one to two nights:

One roll of toilet paper per bathroom
A couple of garbage bags
Small dishwashing liquid
A few dishwasher tablets

Laundry pods
One roll of paper towels
Hand soap
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body wash
Guests staying longer should plan to bring additional supplies.

Linens & Towels
Towels and linens are provided for your stay.

Security Camera
There is one exterior security camera aimed at the driveway and trash can area.
There are no cameras inside the home and none near the hot tub or fire pit areas.


House Rules
Check-in after 4:00 PM
Check-out by 10:00 AM
Must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must stay at the property
Up to 2 mature dogs allowed. Pets must be listed at booking and are included in the total price. Pets other than dogs are not permitted
No smoking inside the home or leaving evidence outside
Do not leave food or trash outside as wildlife may be attracted
No parties or gatherings exceeding posted occupancy
Please keep outside noise respectful
4WD, AWD, and/or chains recommended during winter months. Guests are responsible for being prepared for winter weather
Guests are responsible for intentional damages
Host is not responsible for items left behind
