Secluded, dog-friendly home with tree-lined view, firepit, fireplace, & deck

House was beautiful and clean!

Generally we enjoyed the home. Laundry facilities would be a nice touch and I am curious if those are in the home but simply not available for use. On top of that there is a cockroach problem in the home that I would suggest is addressed right away before that gets out of hand, and cockroaches mean dead animals nearby or in the home, something else I would have checked. The yard could use some TLC also, at least around the firepit where things are looking overgrown and the huge piles of branches/wood (while convenient) add to the junk look of that area. Just general feedback. Overall, the home was very nice, my family enjoyed their time there, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area if they wanted something slightly on the rustic side.

Nice cabin, everything was clean and neat. There was a lot more towel, kitchen utensils, bed sheets than last time.

A lot of space and awesome view

We loved this place and can’t wait to come back! Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows in living space! Comfortable couches both upstairs and down ! Great fire pit area as well! Secluded spot with space for kids to run and play outside. Try it - you’ll like it!

My stay at this cabin was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was taken by its beauty and charm. The setting is incredibly serene and peaceful—ideal for anyone looking to escape into nature. The cabin itself was spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. With room to comfortably sleep 12, the spacious layout would be perfect for large groups (or just a few people), and the vaulted ceilings added such an airy, open feel. The fireplace was a cozy addition, perfect for chilly evenings. The two bathrooms (with lush towels!) were a great convenience, and the smart TV was a nice modern touch for winding down after a day outdoors. One of the highlights is the outdoor fire pit, where you could spend evenings enjoying s'mores, stories, and the peaceful sounds of the forest. Best of all, this cabin is dog-friendly, so I was able to bring my furry family members along to enjoy the experience. They loved exploring the area (we ran the trails in 9 nearby state parks in 3 days), and it was wonderful to have a place where we could all relax together. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat with all the comforts and little luxuries. My dogs and I will absolutely be back!

Beautiful home in a good location. Easy access to the lake and near a small town if you forget to bring anything. Plus only 30minutes to Wisconsin Dells!

The house was very spacious. It was nice having the downstairs available for those not able to do the stairs. Our family made spaghetti, chili and breakfasts and there were enough dishes and pots and pans. I would highly recommend Happy Trails. Can't wait to return
