Scenic Ridge Cabin - Wichita Mountains, Oklahoma - Incredible Mountain Views

Great location. Perfect for a small family. My kids loved the upstairs bunk. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with the great view in the background. The host knows the area well and was on contact with us about any questions I had such as “what hikes are best for kids?”

Great cabin with up to date amenities and perfect location!

My family loved the beautiful Mountain View. Location was great! We enjoyed seeing the animals along the way to cabin. Everything you need was in the cabin. The kids had a blast going up the ladder to their beds. Beds are super comfy. Everything was nice and clean. Visit to mount scott, holy city and medicine park very close. The old plantation restaurant had amazing food.

Great little cabin with close location to the refuge. Can't thank the host enough for squeezing us into their calendar. We had a great weekend trip.

The cabin was exactly as described and perfect for our group of 4. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds, were comfortable, and the cabin felt cozy. We had to use both the AC and heater during our stay, and it was easy to switch between the two. David was very communicative and easy to work with during our stay.

My wife and I spent three nights while visiting the Wichita Mountains. We were very pleased with the accomodation. Everything was clean and as advertised. Really good view of the mountains. We enjoyed the serenity of the evenings and sitting out on the porch. Excellent location. Just 15 minutes or so from the refuge. Definitely recommend staying.

This was our second time to come enjoy this beautiful relaxing place. And it won't be the last! Super clean. Comfortable. Such a serene landscape to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise and sunset. A perfect gem. Thanks again, for providing a peaceful tranquil place for us to enjoy!

This place is impressive! The views, the space, the location, the ammenities. All top notch. Literally minutes from the wildlife refuge. I would stop at a grocery store before arriving because the nearest one is 30 min away. There are no spices, or coffee/creamer so you will need to grab those things. Other than that I will definately be back. We had such a great time!

Scenic Ridge cabin was so beautiful! Our 1st time staying in a cabin and we loved it! We came down from Louisiana for our son’s AIT graduation at Fort Sill. We all enjoyed just sitting on the porch chilling and enjoying the time we had with our family. Nice, cozy atmosphere! Would definitely love to stay here again!

We had a great stay. We didnt do much, but we did go to Mt. Scott and ate at Medicine Park. The food was great and the experience was great.

We wanted a place that was quiet and beautiful and this was it! Remote but not too far from civilization…and the views right outside the front door were gorgeous, not to mention the areas all around the property.

Great home base for exploring a little known national treasure steeped in history and integral in restoring one of North Americas largest land mammals

This is our second time to stay here, we stayed in July and January, so we got to experience both the hottest and coldest months of the year. We loved both stays! The only thing that we regret is not understanding that the beautiful wood burning stove was for show only. Other than that, our stay was PERFECT! David and Dara are excellent hosts and we cannot wait for our third stay.

My partner and I had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and very cozy. We appreciated the recommendations and info sent to us by our hosts, and had a wonderful Christmas dinner. We both agreed we would love to be back in the spring to see the area again when it isn’t winter, though the misty mountain tops we saw during our stay had a certain charm as well and made for some beautiful scenery.

Great property near some great hiking.

We enjoyed our stay, we wasn't at the cabin much we went hiking and shopping with our time there. The cabin was very comfy and relaxing and we enjoyed the peacefulness.

Overall was excellent place to relax and enjoy the area.

This was the second time my wife and I stayed here and we will definitely be back again. The house is is great shape with and incredible porch view. They keep it stocked with toiletries that are above a beyond what is necessary for a rental. Plus, we were able to see bison, deer, longhorns, and all other types of wildlife within a 10-minute drive. Love the entire area, but wouldn't even waste my time looking for another place to stay if that's your destination. Not a bad thing to say about this special hidden gem in the Wichita Mountains.

We booked this cabin to attend a graduation from basic training at Fort Sill. All the beautiful decorative touches and upgraded appliances made the cabin feel more vacation-like. We made great use of the deck furniture and hammock chair.

Scenic Ridge cabin lives up to its name! Located in a perfect spot for scenery, starry skies, and easy access to the amazing landscapes of the Wichita Mountains. The cabin itself is charming and well-equipped, and the hosts are hospitable and responsive.

We were able to enjoy our 6th wedding anniversary here with our kids. The property was wonderful inside and out. We plan to go back!

Wonderfully relaxing with beautiful views.

This cabin is amazing! Clean, comfortable, beautiful, well decorated, so many amenities! We enjoyed the daily deer every morning and evening, the horse shoe pit, the gas grill, amazing kitchen, lovely decor, thoughtful area activity information, and well stocked assortment of games, and literature. This cabin is well located for activities in the refuge. We hiked every morning and fished during the day. Came home to hot showers and an amazing kitchen to cook in. The property also has a a chiminea and a nice fire pit that look amazing, however we did not use either due to the high winds and fire hazard. It is located within 15-20 minutes of all the area attractions, and about two miles from Beers.
