The cabin was so nice. Clean & had everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful.
We had an amazing stay. Showed up to a beautiful clean property! Walked in and saw their check-in and check-out instructions and they also had a binder with the information. Also included in that binder was yhing to do locally, food, entertainment, activities and more. The hot tub was amazing and clean with clear instructions on hot to disinfect once done using. They had towels and a limited set up for tolit paper, dish soap and trash bags. No biggie because we only needed more tolit paper and walmart is just 15 min away. Fire pit was easy to usr and fun! The drive for me was absolutely beautiful but a little scary once on the mountain. A 4-wheel drive is definitely easier to drive up but my 2 wheel did just fin. Now if there was snow or ice it wouldnt have made it. The amazing thing is I rwached out to them to ask about it and they were honest from the jump! The only small thing and Im still giving 5 stars cause it was amazing was the downstairs bed. Its seems old and worn and was super hard. I had to lay on pillows but i like my bed on the softer side. Canr wait to go bisit the area again and would definitely stay at their properities in the future! Thank you from my family we had an amazing experience and time.
It was a beautiful cabin, the only thing I was concerned about was there was no window coverings on the main level.
The drive up the mountain was a challenge and the directions provided were not good, we were told not to use gps but turned out it worked great
Me and my husband loved staying here! It was incredibly clean and the bed was so comfy! Beautiful area. An owl even called outside our window the first night it was perfect! The bad news is that we didnt bring a fwd vehicle so it was TERRIFYING to get in and out of the neighborhood. One lane, gravel, mountain road for 10 minutes before you get to the cabin. Definitely wouldnt plan to go anywhere after dark. Luckily my husband is very experienced on mountain roads. I would have turned around and slept in my car if i was the one driving lol! Overall despite the drive all we could talk about while we were there was when we could come back with a group of friends in a fwd rental car
Its a really beautiful cabin. It takes a while to drive back to it so if you are planning on doing a lot of day trips in and out you should account for that.
Loved staying in this cabin !! It was Beautiful, like new, had everything we needed ❤️ We didn’t realize the bedrooms were either upstairs or downstairs, but that was ok, saw deer walking in the woods everyday we were there. Perfect place in the woods to relax, towns were a little ways away, but that is what we wanted ? Road to cabin was fine for our AWD vechicle and our daughter’s car, but felt a bit narrow to pass other cars, but was doable….. Overall, had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay again !!
Beautiful property. Felt like it’s still new, very clean and just as advertised. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The drive up was rough fyi. GPS took me right there.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and practically brand new.
The drive up was a little rough without 4wd but we made it in one piece. The cabin itself was beautiful, lovely interior and exterior. The place was very clean and smelled of wood. Everything was rather nice until we noticed the hot tub had been uncovered and left running with minimal water. Having arrived late we fixed the problem ourselves and called it a night.
My husband & I did a little trip for our 19th Anniversary here. The Cabin was exactly as described & matched the pictures in the listing. We had a great time & it was nice to get away & be in a enviroment as described. We had a little hiccup with check-in, i called a few hours before to verify the door code as stated in the check-in email but when we arrived that evening it didnt work. Had to call the emergency line & after about 20 minutes we had a different code & was able to get into the cabin. Besides the little hiccup we enjoyed our time here at this cabin & would stay again!
The cabin was very nice with many amenities and very clean! My husband and I enjoyed a very nice weekend getaway here. As some reviews had mentioned before, it is a little distance from Blue Ridge and the drive to the cabin was a bit rough but doable. If you want very secluded this is a great place!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It’s a beautiful drive up the mountain. The cabin is beautiful inside and comfortable - it’s a good mix of rustic and modern. It has everything you need to have the comforts of home but in the most peaceful setting. Our only request would be to have a picnic table out by the fire pit and grill so we could’ve dined outside.
The location was perfect and secluded enough. It was very clean and well appointed.
The road to this cabin is nothing more than a one lane goat trail with several switchback curves. It was frightening going up and down. Thank goodness we did not meet another vehicle coming the other way. Road is mostly wide enough for one car. There were several weird bugs and two spiders we had to kill in the cabin. Beware!
