Sandy Beach Family Getaway w/ Fire Pit & Deck!

This was a beautiful lakefront property that was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Very quiet and peaceful every day through the weekend that we stayed. The water in the lake is beautiful and clear. Grocery stores are within a 20 minute drive into town. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake!

This lake home is beautiful and well-furnished with everything you need. Beds are super comfortable and the view is gorgeous. The sandy beach area & crystal clear water are perfect with lots of beach toys, paddle boat & paddle boards. Highly recommended and we will hopefully be back!

Fabulous Family Getaway! Beautiful property on Lake Ida! The private beach is really nice. Clear sandy bottom. And, they offer so many beach toys - toddlers to adults. It was wonderful! Highly recommend this home for families. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and sitting area in the evenings. We also appreciated the garage turned into a gathering area with a table and chairs, ping pong, and other outdoor games. These owners have really put a lot of thought into everything a family needs from a pack n play to a high chair, toys to puzzles, and even s’mores sticks! We loved everything! Thank you!

Grandparents, Adult Kids, and Grandkids had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for multi generations as the downstairs has its own family room/game room. The decks were so inviting and comfortable. The sandy beach was perfect for the littles and all the water toys made our stay!!! We went for beautiful nature walks each day, swam in the lake and paddled the SUP’s. We also enjoyed going to Carlos Creek Winery for a wine tasting and pizza dinner. Super fun and family friendly. We hope to come back again.

Great open spaces for large family, nice dock beach and boat rental. Beautiful view of the lake, sunrise and sunset from the deck. Relaxing long weekend

We had 7 adults and a toddler and had everything we needed for a great week in the sun, on their beach and in the great Alexandria vacation area. Can wait to come back.

Our entire family had a great time at this getaway. The beach was clean and sandy, and the water was clear and refreshing. We enjoyed relaxing in the water, kayaking/paddleboarding, and fishing with our boat. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Plenty of room for the six of us to be able to have our own space for sleeping arrangements. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great property with a beautiful view!! We had a small group get together for the weekend. The bedrooms were setup nicely for multiple kids/families. We loved the outdoor space. Like the listing states, there are a lot of steps to the water, but they were fine for our group aged 5-45. Our favorite part was all the things they have available. Kids loved the water toys and games. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well maintained and had many things to do both in and out of the water. We especially loved the yard game Kubb we found in the garage. Every morning we went out on the lake to paddle board, use the paddle boat, swim, or just relax on the dock. The guest house attached to the garage was a nice addition for our large family. The lake was quiet and peaceful the entire week. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to spend four days in June with our entire family. Comfortable accommodations, great communication with homeowner, beautiful lake property! I would highly recommend! I would not hesitate to visit this property again.

Top notch property for a lake vacay! My family and I absolutely loved all there was to offer at this lake home, down to the items available for use for kids(toys, sand toys, puzzles, games, kitchen items, etc)…hosts thought of it all! Communication with the host was bar none, home was very clean and well-maintained, BEAUTIFUL lake views, amazing outdoor spaces and the private beach was used fully. Only downfall was the steep steps, was listed and shown in the listing, so we knew what we were getting into with those. Very quiet, safe, and private neighborhood. Great location for anyone!
