Stayed Jul 11, 2025Might not be what you expect based on the pictures. It looks like it’s a full cabin based on the Birds Eye view picture, but it’s much smaller. I suppose it can sleep 6, but it’s not really ideal for that many people. There is no dining table, only a bar style counter at the front window with stools. I will say, the location itself is beautiful

Stayed Aug 30, 2024It was great and perfectly cute. Nice grass area to relax at. No smart tv or DVD player but it didn’t take away from us having a good time.

Stayed Jun 2, 2022We have stayed here over and over, it’s our favorite spot, such a gem of a find! It’s right in the canyon and it’s GORGEOUS- there is red rock all around you, it’s peaceful, and you have private access to the creek and an awesome hike close by. slide rock park is two minutes away. we love it here! I think this was our fifth stay at this property. if you want peace and quiet near sedona, pack some food and hunker down here

Stayed Oct 6, 2022Pros: easy to find, easy to park, away from the crowds and traffic jams. Very clean and streamlined. Good linens, plenty of towels. Has AC. Cons: the mattresses are thin and uncomfortable, the only exception being the mattress on the trundle bed. You can hear everything if you leave the windows open, including what’s going on in the bathroom next door if they have theirs open too. They only gave us one roll of thin paper towels and two rolls of prison TP for a four night stay. We had to buy more. FYIs: the kitchen has a toaster oven and an electric hot plate. There’s a propane grill outside. It’s a drip coffee maker, and they provided a good amount of decent coffee. This location is perfect for either going south to the red rocks or north to the forests. Beautiful scenery.

Stayed Apr 18, 2022This place needs work. Here’s the good and bad… The good: - location is just a few minutes drive from downtown Sedona (and a very beautiful drive indeed) - I had a question when we arrived and I contacted the host via text and I received a response within minutes. The bad: - Wish I could attach pictures to this review, because as we walked up to the front door of cabin 5, the fabric portion of the welcome mat is ripped from it (the part you need to clean the bottom of your shoes is literally missing from the rubber part of the mat). We enter the interior and find a couch (not the one shown on the website) that looks and feels like it was bought at a garage sale 7 years ago. (Some of the pictures on the site are definitely not recent pictures of cabin 5. I suspect the pics were taken during the remodeling.). We go to the back patio and we are greeted with a patio set nestled next to a rat trap (seriously, a rat trap) and a nice array of weeds, cigarette butts, and a deteriorating roof. Seriously, a little landscaping and building upkeep would go a long way here to help bring out the beauty of the rock behind the building. - I don’t want to describe what my wife found on the shower wall but I will tell you it was probably from someone’s nose. - The building has thin walls and/or poorly insulated walls because the road noise from route 89A was very loud (drops off around 0930) and the noise from the people in cabin 6 was ridiculous. - The trundle bed was very squeaky (our 12 year old had trouble falling asleep on the bed). - The TV in the bedroom area did not work (only reason I wanted to use it was to drown out the noise from the folks in the next cabin).

Stayed Mar 26, 2022We stayed in Cabin 5 for 4 nights and overall enjoyed our stay. The host was quick to address any needs we had. However, the inconsistent wifi signal with a limitation of no streaming was a challenge for our family. The wifi connection was not adequate for my work needs and our kids were bored when it rained since they could not stream or use wifi. I wish these limitations had been listed up front on VRBO.
