It was not cleaned well, very dirty under the bed and furniture. Cold when we arrived and took several hours to warm up. Owner was very nice and offered us an extra day free, but our schedule did not allow that.
Listing said a wood burning fireplace. That is why I booked it. We took wood but only gas logs. The yard needs a lot of work. A little glum but we still had a nice time.
The property was very dated. Which is okay, but it was not very clean. Dust everywhere. One of the bathroom sinks stopped up the first night. They did however come the next day and fix it. But whoever came left dog hair and poop on the floor we had to clean up. Don't think I will rent again ☹️
The cabin was perfect. It was much larger than we were expecting. It was nicely set up for a pleasant stay. Was very clean and the decor had a nice vibe. Not your usual log cabin feel more like a cozy cottage in a beautiful English garden. I couldn't stop taking photos of the beautiful garden. It was close to everything but the setting was quiet and serene. I just wish we'd had more time to actually spend in the property but we had a short stay.but I'd say it was perfect. We would definitely recommend this rental!
Great place for a little get away. It was myself, husband and my sister. There was enough space to not feel as if crowded. We enjoyed the screened in porch at night and I had my coffee in the morning. Nice to listen to nature....and was surprised to hear a rooster! Everything about our stay ran smoothly except the property had some maintenance scheduled at a very early time in the morning for people on vacation. The owner has thought to have a lot of items in case you forgot to pack them. Cute cabin.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house was very cozy and well decorated. The linens smelled clean and the had enough towels for everyone to use. They even had a piano which none of us knew how to play. Would recommend staying there again.
Everything you could possibly want for a romantic secluded getaway. The cabin is private, clean, has everything you will need, even bubble bath and toiletries. We will definitely be back!
My family and I enjoy our stay at this rustic yet clean and cozy cabin. My kids and I loved the unique decor and charm. The owner has thought of everything and even has helpful notes throughout the cabin. She was professional, polite and responded to questions quickly. Everything was clean, and the beds are nice. We loved the lush greenery and flowers around the property. It's so peaceful to sit outside at night and enjoy the sounds of nature. The cabin is nicely tucked away, but close many restaurants and attractions. We look forward to staying again!
The cabin and grounds were charming. The owner was easy to communicate with. The cabin was well located for day trips to Ashville, Hendersonville, Franklin and Bryson City to name just a few places.
The cabin is close to Sierra Nevada which met our need.
We loved the character and history of this vintage cabin. Location was great fun enjoying Asheville, Hendersonville, Pisgah National Forest, and DuPont State Forest. Our only complaint is that it could have been cleaner. Regardless, thanks for letting us enjoy your “funky” cabin.
We absolutely loved this cabin and if it would not have been booked we would have stayed longer.
The house is tucked away a few blocks from the main thoroughfare in Arden. It was quiet and comfortable. Several outside sitting options and plenty of plants and flowers around to add to the ambiance. We enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent...very rustic...good old fashioned cabin...complete with all the birds, critters and animals the Good Lord provided... perfect place to relax and leave civilization behind...plus Lynda and here grounds crew are first cabin (no pun intended)! Tommy #1
