From the pictures, it looks like the cabin is right off a main road but its not. It's got its own private road only shared with other cabins on the hill! So that means no noisy traffic. I wasn't expecting that so that made the cabin so much better. The cabin is authentic. Made entirely out of wood. It was very clean and honestly it was nicer than the pictures showed. The view was beautiful. I would buy this cabin if it was for sale. I did not want to leave. I would 10/10 stay there again.
Amazing place, beautiful house great staff. 100% recommended
This log cabin was perfect and was exactly as described online. The location was gorgeous with lots of land around you to enjoy. Behind the cabin was a beautiful site of a meadow and mountains all around. We were thrilled with our stay and enjoyed the fire pit as well which was a bonus for us! This cabin will stay on our go to list for future stays!
Great location, well-equipped, very clean, and a fantastic firepit area. Close to Cherokee and GSMNP entrance. We had a very nice visit and hope to return next year.
Really nice house in a beautiful rolling hills little street, with 6 or 7 other similar rental homes. The house would be perfect, but I removed a star because the ground floor had ants. So until this is addressed, it's better to stick to the 2nd floor one, making it hard for larger groups to use this house. Since there were only 2 of us, it was not a major problem for us. 6 minutes drive from the Lions grocery store, which is real convenient.
Loved everything about the place! Great location. Great amenities. Wonderful and clear communication. Highly recommend!!!
This cabin exceeded our expectations. It was secluded and peaceful yet super close to Cherokee and GSMNP. We just loved the whole experience of the great outdoors. It was clean, spacious and just the perfect size for our family of 5. The large porch with outdoor dining and firepit were added bonuses. We would definitely book again. Communication was great as well. Thank you!!
Very nice place to stay! Peaceful and quiet!
This is our third time staying in Country Acres! The cabins are spacious, cozy, furnished beautifully, and have the most comfy beds! Every time we stay there, we come home wanting to purchase our own log cabin just like these! The loop is perfect for walking in the mornings and evenings and my kids love checking in on the donkeys and cows that are right next to the property. We hope to visit again soon!
The whole cabin was beautiful.
The cabin itself was very well kept from the inside to the outside, the setting was gorgeous the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The finishes inside were up scale and very well kept. The cabin was well furnished with house keeping products, it will be a place we revisit. It was a safe place you were able to just relax and enjoy. If you are looking for a quite exceptional clean comfortable place to put your feet up or just swing on the porch this is the place. Thank you for making a memorable visit for two sister’s who needed it.
Location of cabin.
Nice level parking for our motorcycles, comfortable beds lovely front porch, only thing I wish they had was a couple throw blankets to curl up under on the couch and watch TV. Our only glitch was the French door wouldn’t lock after we opened it, but I’m sure their maintenance team will fix that right away!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Meadows. The cabin is well stocked and located just 10 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants and sightseeing. Although it’s close to town the cabin is very quiet and surrounded several wildlife. Wild turkeys were seen on several occasions from the porch. The only reason why I won’t give it 5-stars is because the side door lock was stuck and therefore a chair had to be propped up against it at night since it could not be locked. Other than that our stay was amazing!
The cabin was lovely as were the surroundings. We were there to explore the National park and it was easy to get there and back. There were a couple of issues at the house (missing remote, not enough supplies, missing coffee carafe) that we reported the first morning we were there, but were not addressed by Vacasa which was disappointing. It would have also been nice to have some clearer direction about using the gas fireplace. There was no welcome packet with details about the home and surrounding area.
Great location…beautiful surroundings…very comfortable beds/linens…cleanliness was top-notch, it was immaculate! The owner was very helpful and responded to any needs we had. It was a great experience and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
The cabin was awesome…. It was spacious, neat, and full of charm. It was decently stocked and provided a couple of features to feel like home. But it definitely gave you mountain top vibes. It was in decent proximity to the casino, various museums, walking trails, and mountain life. We are definitely coming back for another vacation.
We loved the property very much. The only issue was the supplies at home. We were 6 people staying for 3 nights and the supplies which were provided to us were less in quantity. Apart from this issue, everything was too pretty and cozy stay.
FYI, there is a Yellow Jacket/ Hornet nest in a tree limb that over hangs the parking area. They stung some of our guests.
Beautiful home in a great location. Surrounded by trees and felt far away from everything, but was convenient to everything we needed during our stay. Just minutes away from restaurants, grocery store, gas stations, casino, movie theater, etc. The home is located at the end of a loop and the directions provided enabled us to find the house with zero problems (definitely get there before dark though). Once there, we pinned the location to Google maps and had no issues getting back to the cabin after a day spent out and about. The final road to the house is narrow and zig zaggy, but my husband loves mountain driving and was quite comfortable with it. While there, the power went out (through no fault of anyone). We contacted Vacasa via text and they responded quickly, letting us know that they would contact the power company with an urgent request. The rep also sent a link so we could check the status of the power coming back on with the power company. Although it was a bit of an annoyance, Vacasa dealt with the situation very well and even offered other accommodations if the power didn't come back on in a timely manner. Just a couple of small things that kept us from giving a five-star rating: no fan in either of the bathrooms, low-quality bathroom towels akin to those you would find in a hotel/motel, no trash bags for the kitchen garbage cans (but there were trash bags for the bathroom garbage cans), and the pillows were definitely too soft and flat. Like I said, very small things, but things that would have made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, my husband and I definitely enjoyed this getaway for our anniversary. The area is beautiful, the drive is not bad considering this is the mountains, and the house was very nice and well equipped. I would definitely return.
PROS: The cabin was nice, scenic and well maintained. Had everything you could need, just bring food and clothing. CONS: The loop road to the cabin was a long one lane road and hilly with a lot of sharp turns through tight areas. Dishwasher was non-functional.
Great Location. 10 minute ride to the golf resort and casino.
