Nice cabin. Lovely view. Porch swing was my favorite spot. My husband liked the fireplace. Couldn’t ask for a better place to relax
Super cozy for my family (2 adults 2 small children)! The location of the cabin is great and conveniently located to just about everything. Its a beautiful spot though and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Very nice cabin-quaint and cozy and had most of what we needed. If you are an average adult over 5'2'' then the shower will be an issue for you and you'll need to bend down to wash your face or hair. This drovey husband nuts and is the reason this property doesn't get 5 stars. Re-do the shower and this easily a 5 star property!
This was our second stay here , our kids love the animals down the road in the barn , we love the cabin and the area and will definetly come back .
This was a lovely home with a beautiful setup. Overall it was a super nice stay. The cleanliness was the only issue. The beds and bathrooms were very clean. However, it looks like it never gets deep cleaned. Under the stools in the kitchen and on the cabinets were very old crumbs. We had to scoot the couch over to make room for a playpen and it was really gross underneath. Also, there was tons of dust everywhere in the corners and up on the shelving in the bedroom. This could EASILY be a 5 star stay if only they had a cleaning crew deep clean occasionally. The only other thing I would add is to make sure to bring paper towels and toiletries because only one small roll was provided. There was not even a bottle of disinfectant spray for cleaning. All that said, my family had a great time and we would stay again. I might just need to bring a vacuum and some Clorox wipes next time.
Overall great stay at the Cove
Conveniently located close to Harrah’s Cherokee Resort and Bryson City. The Cove was idyllic, nestled on a paved private one-way winding mountain road. It was as pictured and described online. The cabins are spaced throughout the winding road, offering just a partial view of the adjacent cabin. I had read a review prior to booking that mentioned the ceiling in the shower being in the eve, making showering difficult for tall people and that was discovered to be the case for members of our party over 6’ tall. We would stay there again and with a larger group, stay in one of the larger homes there.
The cabin was cozy, but definitely smaller than we expected. Our family of 4 made it work though. A couple things to suggest for the property: curtains/drapes would have been nice in the bathroom windows, so it didn’t feel like your privacy was invaded and a few more towels and washcloths. Overall, it was a great location within 10-20 minutes of Cherokee, Sylva, and Dillsboro. Also, there is no central heat or space heaters in the cabin so if you go in cooler weather be prepared to bundle up! Again it worked out for the 4 of us but we also had friends staying at the hilltop cabin at the same time, we did spend a lot of time at their cabin as it had more space inside and out for the kids to play.
Beautiful cabin, scenery and fun!
Great place to relax and unwind. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
Was a nice SMALL cozy cabin. If you are over 6'2'', you cannot shower. Coffee carafe didnt go with coffee pot so had a mess the first morning. Had dirty dishes in oven. Cobwebs in bathrooms and bedrooms. Landscapers on our property saturday afternoon did not make for a peaceful day. All in all it was ok but so many small things add up. I would say if in the area again, we would look for a different cabin.
It was a great location on a small farm. I would easily have given it a 6 star rating if possible, but there few a few things that were a little annoying. The trash from the previous visitor was not picked up, so the outside trash can was full when we arrived on a Friday evening and it did not get emptied until the following Monday! I tried to message and call the Vacasa help line, but of course it is very difficult on the weekend to get help. The bath tube stopper would not work, so my wife had a difficult time taking a bath. There are no curtains on the bathroom windows and the shower height is for short people. I'm about 6 ft. and had to sit down in the shower to rinse off. Besides these things it was a great, clean, rustic cabin with lots of charm especially the front porch and views.
We enjoyed every bit of it. The cabin is as cute as the pictures. The place was clean and beds we’re comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Loved the porch, rocking chairs, swing and the view.
The location was perfect. The short drive from town to the cabin was was beautiful. Like going back in time. The cabin was clean and was the perfect size for 2 couples. We would love to stay here again.
Beautiful, quiet cabin. Very nice
We would stay at this property again
We loved this cabin! It was perfect for our little family of four. It was convenient to Cherokee and to Bryson City. We will book it again!!!
Great front porch and Huge Beds
We loved the cozy & warm ambiance of the cabin & the location was great.
This is a great place, in a perfect setting, to relax and enjoy your vacation. The home offers everything you need. Just make sure you sit on the front porch to end your day!
Location was great to get to all the places we wanted to go. Enjoyed the front porch & seeing the llamas. Adequate for two people but four maximum.
Really neat setting and fine cabin. Very peaceful area and clean, comfortable stay for 5 nights. Hope to stay there again in the near future.
This cabin was perfect for what our family of four needed for a weekend away. The drive to get there was beautiful and easy (no scary mountain roads to worry about). The location is great- far enough out of town to be super quiet, but close enough that you can be to Cherokee within 10 minutes and to the national park within 15 minutes. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed the porch swing while we watched the llamas on the hill across the driveway. We also really liked that both bedrooms and the full bath were on the second floor, since we have younger kids that we wanted close by at night instead of having to go up and down stairs. Overall amazing experience! Can't wait to come again!
Overall, this was a nice cabin, good location, and not difficult to get to. I rated it four stars instead of five because there were no curtains or blinds in either of the bathrooms and even though we were in a fairly secluded area, it made me feel pretty uncomfortable, because the shower and the toilet were right next to the window. I rated “cleanliness” four stars because there were a few large dead beetles (about as long as the palm of my hand!) on the floor downstairs. But overall, my children and I enjoyed our stay and the cabin. We had decent cell reception, which I was worried about, so that was nice as well.
My family loved staying here! This cozy cabin is very well-kept and everything was clean. Very quiet, serene setting; nestled on the mountain side. Loved it!
We loved staying at this cabin. It was so cute and close to everything yet still private.
