Rustic Lakefront Cabin with Bonus 'Tree House' - A Place to Unwind

Loved our stay. Cute cabin on a beautiful lake!

Cabin was very cute and clean. The view was amazing and close to many activities.

Cabin was so dreamy and cozy. We were obsessed with the windows and the view. They had everything you could need or want and even had some toys for kids which is a huge bonus for us.

Such a special place! What a cool cabin experience on the lake. The ducks are our new best friends. The little twinkling lights were so sweet. Our youngest loved staying in the tree house. Snug Harbor was awesome.

The most perfect place for a staycation! The dock was wonderful and the space was exactly as listed. We stayed as a group of four and it was wonderful.

The property and views were absolutely beautiful. Jenny was incredibly helpful and clear with directions and guidance about how to get to the property. It had everything we needed.

Really relaxing setting! Kitchen was well equipped. Close to a variety of hikes but we mostly enjoyed hanging out enjoying the wood stove and being right on the lake!

We had a wonderful fall visit. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, had a fire in the pit and played lots of games.

We stayed here for our wedding night and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay! We enjoyed our time here so much we wish we had stayed longer to have a full day to just relax and enjoy the cabin and beautiful lake front views! Everything about the cabin is also so picturesque! The hosts were so helpful and accommodation and added some thoughtful touches to congratulate us and help us celebrate our special day! I can’t say enough good things about our stay here and how amazing the hosts are! We would absolutely love to come back again! I give this stay the best possible rating there is! We had the most incredible time!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this lake cabin. The views were beautiful, the surrounding forest smells like heaven. We took day trips to explore the Olympic National Forest and Forks. This cabin is very cozy and was well stocked with everything we needed. I loved the wood stove. The owners were wonderful and helped us when we called for assistance for something minor. We had a great vacation and would love to revisit this cabin again in the future. The tree house was very cute but we didnt use it because my husband and i just stayed in the cabin.

We had a wonderful time at the lake and visiting the National Park. The cabin was comfortable and perfect for hanging out by the lake after hiking.

We enjoyed some great family time at this rustic lakefront cabin. We swam off the dock, paddled kayaks in the calm morning waters, and rowed across the lake in the rowboat. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a nice size dining table plus a picnic table on the deck. The hosts were very helpful when we had questions. They provided good directions as well as info about where to park and about the steep trail down to the cabins. The bonus treehouse cabin was cute and cozy and had a beautiful view. The main cabin had a big two level deck and dock which go right to the lake‘s edge. We had to keep a close eye on the 4 and 6 year olds but the loved playing on the deck, swimming and eating outside. This side of the lake has a fair amount of shade, but the weather was nice and we spent most of the time outside! All in all a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay on Lake Sutherland in early August. Perfect location for relaxing and swimming by the lake and a home base for exploring the park. Cabin was rustic but very clean and had lots of options (games, movies, etc.) to keep busy during downtime. Only stayed for a few nights but will be remembered forever.

This is our annual third year. Check in was excellent & easy with key pad. Love having huge deck & be able dock our boat. We jumped tons on the diving board, always big hit. The tree house is great where my husband & I stay with sink/toilet. The main house with two bedrooms & bathroom with shower our kids & grandkids stay. House leans but you get used to it very well stocked. Loved kayaks. Only thing would change is the both mattresses in main house. Tree house mattress very comfortable. Plus could use some new pans, everything sticks & hard to clean. Pots are good. Another fabulous family local trip. See you next time.

We had an incredible family vacation that perfectly blended lake activities, nearby hiking trails, and opportunities for nature bathing.

A fun stay for my daughter and two young sons. She suggested a humidifier might help with slight damp. A good base for not only lake activities but all those hikes around the Olmpic Peninsula and a day trip to SolDuc Hotsprings. Lovely hosts checked in to make sure our arrival/stay was smooth. We had the best time at the lake house. The views were beautiful and the kayaks were an added bonus. Our family of three was comfortable and had everything we needed for an incredible stay. We’d love to come back in the future!

The cabin is the perfect place to stay when exploring Olympic National Park. All the main park destinations are around an hour or less drive. The lake is the perfect setting for a relaxing moment on the deck. You can also spend a quiet morning rowing on the lake after a morning coffee. Our 20 year old sons enjoyed having their own sleeping area with the second bedroom and the tree house.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. We didn’t need anything but the owner was very open for communication. Highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful location and a great place to relax and unwind. The lake was spectacular. The cabin and deck and dock were perfect to sit and hang out on. We used it as a jumping off point for Olympic National Park hiking and it was perfect.

The pictures do not do it justice. The view was outstanding! It was super cozy and we loved having a real fire in the wood burner. If it was for sale I would probably consider buying it!

Great place to relax after day hiking

The cabin was everything we could have asked for a weekend of hiking around Olympic National Park! We would certainly stay here again, and recommend it to anyone looking to stay.

Yet another fantastic stay at this lakefront cabin. It never disappoints and provided us a much needed weekend away from town.

Absolutely loved this home. Driveway access and pathway to the house are very steep, so plan for that. Once you get to the home it is absolutely beautiful. Although you are surrounded by homes you feel very secluded and private. Felt homey and comfortable. The kayaks are very easy to access and the lake is perfect for kayaking.

There is something about this home and this spot that makes your blood pressure drop the minute you arrive. We loved our family time here, and it's a fantastic jumping-off spot from numerous ONP hikes and attractions. Most notable: super helpful hosts, quality, comfy beds and linens, unbeatable views from the deck, well-equipped kitchen and great spot to cook together, LOTS of blankets ... we loved sitting outside with the blankets and our early am coffee watching the fog roll over the lake. This place is absolutely stunning, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for unwinding; amazing location. I highly recommend taking the kayak out on the lake and heading to Granny's Cafe for dinner (4 min away). Would stay here again for sure.

My friends and I loved staying at this cabin. It was so cute and cozy. We didn’t miss wifi at all and enjoyed picking out movies to watch! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. The view is absolutely amazing! We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to come back one day!

We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean, and had no musty odor, despite being so near to the lake. It felt very private due to the arrangement of the windows, walls and outbuildings, though it is pretty close to neighboring homes (the treehouse felt a little less private, since it was close to the driveway and overlooked the neighbor's yard). The driveway was a little intimidating for us flat-landers, but we figured out that if we drove past it and turned around, it was easier to approach from the other direction. The house is within a 30 minute drive of several of the ONP attractions, but just being at this charming house was very special.

This was our second year doing staycation. We love having the separate tree house. Owners are very quick to answer questions. Kids & I love the diving board & huge deck outside. Costs going up next year, but hoping we can work out to make it a 3rd year

5 stars is not enough for this property! I would rate it a 10! Excellent location on the lake! Everything you need at the house, helpful owners and super cute ducks that visit every day! This is my 3rd time renting this house and I will rent again every year! The best location ever!!

We had a wonderful weekend visiting with friends! The home was clean, had a spacious deck on the water, and plenty of room for 3 couples. The location is perfect for visiting Olympic National Park, Port Angeles, or just hanging out at the lake. Kitchen was well stocked and the kayaks were great. Thank you!

We had another wonderful visit packed with memory making for our family. This was our fifth year here and our daughter was proposed to on the dock! Very special, indeed. The property owners are wonderful communicators and everything is as advertised. We took multiple hikes, bike rides, swims, s’mores, movies, and board games! Looking forward to coming back again.

A cozy little cabin on the lake with a huge dock. Swimming, diving, kayaking! The location on Lake Sutherland puts you a short drive from most of the highlights of Olympic National Park. My family loved our stay.

This was our 2nd time renting this spot. The house is great. The extra tree house was perfect for our teen girls. Proximity to the water is perfect. There is a slightly steep walk down from the car to the house, but once you're unpacked, you're set. Would recommend

My wife, kids, and I had a great time at the cabin, it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook every day. Being right on Lake Sutherland, it was the perfect base camp to visit Olympic National Park and Cape Flattery. We enjoyed the kayaks and diving board. Our kids were swimming almost every evening, and playing the Super Nintendo (brought back some old memories for me). The neighborhood was great, safe and quiet. Beds were all comfortable, and cabin was very relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing and watching sunrises. There is a nice little area for sitting around the fire pit, and grilling. Cabin was perfect location, clean, quiet, and very comfortable.
