The cabin is cozy and just the right size for our family of five including 3 boys. It is set on the hillside in an old-growth forest. We saw deer and all kinds of birds. The front porch felt like a tree house and was very relaxing. We cooked hamburgers and sausage on the grill. We used the dock to park a rented boat, fish, and cast off kayaks to a remote island a short paddle away. The kayaks are provided with the cabin. There are a number of steps but that is the trade-off for the tree house atmosphere.

We stayed at this beautiful cabin while in town for a Perfect Game baseball tournament in East Cobb, and it could not have been a better experience. The drive to the fields was scenic and easy, with minimal traffic, making it the perfect location—close enough to everything, yet tucked away for peace and relaxation. What made this trip truly special was the time spent at the cabin. After long days at the ballfields, we looked forward to coming back to enjoy Lake Lanier. The boys couldn’t get enough of kayaking, swimming, and playing in the water until the sun went down. Calling them in each night was a challenge—they were having that much fun!In the evenings, we cozied up and watched movies and even learned a bit about the history and legends of Lake Lanier, which made the experience even more memorable for the kids. The cabin itself was well-stocked with everything we needed—just bring your own groceries and you’re all set. The space was clean, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back again, and next time we plan to bring the entire family. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway with just the right amount of adventure, this is the place. Highly recommend!

This was a very relaxing stay. The property was exactly as described. The cabin was fully stocked with anything you could need. We liked the down home feeling and seclusion. Peaceful beautiful surroundings. The fish were elusive from time to time, but we spent a lot of time out on the dock regardless. Jeremiah was always available. Highly recommend this property.

Brought my son and his friends to celebrate his 18th bday. It was perfect for a boys trip! They used the kayaks and fished off the dock. The owner was super responsive and great to work with. Will definitely try to come back when the weather is warmer!

A group of us ladies traveled from all over and stayed to attend a ministry training. The owner was accommodating and prompt. Take note that the pathway to house is a little steep if you have anyone with limitations. And the coffee pot is a 5cup so if you need larger I would reach out to host as I’m sure he would meet your needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house is relatively small but very comfortable and well appointed. There were six of use but we never felt crowded (we used a couple of camp chairs that we brought with us). The short walk down to the dock though relatively steep wasn't bad. Spent most of our time on the dock doing a little fishing. Though other houses are nearby we found the location very quite and peaceful. Great place and we will be back :)

The house was very cute and very accommodating. The owners of this house have true hospitality. The yard down to the lake is very steep so make sure youre ready to make the hike back up. It was very secluded and dark. If youre trying to get away from city life and bright lighrs.... this little cabin is definitely a great choice! The owners were very responsive to my texts and are very personable. Loved our stay!
