this is the dirtiest place i have ever stayed. there was a dirty diaper under the bed in one of the rooms. there was hair all over the house and it looked trashy and like it had never been cleaned. We couldn't use one of the beds because it was missing a few boards. the bathroom on the second floor is useless. my whole family had to bathe on the first floor.
Place was extremely dirty. There was a used pamper under one of the bed. One of the double beds was missing tables and we could not use that. You could see the trash, hairs all the around the house. The access to get to this property is not marked, so you have to guess where the cabin is located. The shower in the second was not working, all my family had to use the shower in the first floor. Mattresses are a nightmare. Please consider other place before you staying here.
The property is in good location. It was peace and calm place. It was clean. We enjoyed our stay.
It was a very nice place.
The road leading in is one lane. Terrible when it’s busy on a white rock road. The beds are terrible. Needs extra locks on the doors. Other than that it’s a very nice cabin with plenty of open space.
Place was good. Although we had a few hiccups, the manager was top notch in helping resolve. The fridge and kitchen needed a little cleaning and it would be a good idea to supply a few more kitchen utensils, knives, and small appliances. Overall very good stay. Hope to go again in future
Water leak: Occured when upstairs shower was in use. This cause an inconvenience by forcing 11 people having to use the master bathroom to take showers. No internet connectivity throughout our stay. We were unable to enjoy Thanksgiving football games as well as enjoying movie night with the family. The kitchen faucet handle kept coming apart as we were cleaning and washing dishes throughout our stay. In the booking description it was stated that there were two sleeper sofas located in the living area. There was only one available and that specific one did not have a mattress provided. Due to not having the mattress, when used as a love seat it sunk down. The blinds located in the living area nearest to the TV were broken. One of the benches located around the fire pit was broken (unscrewed). This could have caused a serious injury as on of the children fell when trying to sit down. The descriptions of the Vacation Rental and amenities that were listed as provided. 1.Lake view is not a proper description as there was none. 2. Garage: There wasnt a garage on the property. 3. Internet: As previously mentioned there was no connectivity throughout stay. 4. Living Room 2 sleeper sofas: As previously mentioned there were was only one provided but even it could not be utilized. 5. Hot tub: The Hot tub had an awful smell. Not sure if this is normal due to being covered but we were leery of the water due to the smell. 6. The property was not properly handicap accessible. (Showers were difficult for them to get in and out) 7. No rocking chairs on the porch This wasn't a huge deal but it was listed as such so just wanted to point it out. This was our first time vacationing in the area and we were very disappointed with our stay. We made due with all the inconveniences but felt that for this to be offered as a LUXURY CABIN RENTAL and the amount that we paid it was a huge disappointment. I do however want to commend Jamie our guest service for trying to help as much as she could but with the issues that we experienced she was unable to resolve.
