The cabin was a perfect place in a great location. We only stayed a few days but it had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in Zion and Bryce Canyons. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions.
This was a last-minute booking. Communication with the host was excellent. The host provided a nice property guidebook both online and physical copy. The property was as advertised. Nice location looking out over a mountain meadow. Lots of wildlife watching. There are two sitting rooms on the sun-facing side of the house. If it gets a little cool during the day, these are excellent warm places to watch the day pass.
My husband, dog and I really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It was very relaxing and easy to get to. The property owner McKay is very easy to communicate with and he responds very quickly. The cabin is fully equipped with all the kitchen appliances and utensils that you would have at home. They had more than enough linens just like you would at your own house. This cabin has all the comforts of home. We saw deer every night which came right onto the property. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to take a trip to Duck Creek. We would definitely stay here again.
We only stayed the night, but we loved this cabin! Everything was clean, neat, and really well organized! I really appreciated that the cabinets were all labeled so easy to find what you’re looking for. The neighborhood is quiet and faces a meadow. We saw tons deer and they come right through the yard! There is a nice wrap around porch to watch all the wildlife and even a telescope to look at the stars or the deer in the meadow. The back of the house has a hot tub, sitting area, and a fire pit. McKay was quick to respond and very helpful. My only complaint is, I wished we stayed longer! We had a great time.
We had a great stay here, the cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed! Super easy check-in, great location-we saw deer in the meadow right out front and the stars at night from the porch are beautiful. Thank you for making our 4th so wonderful!
Wonderful cabin in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.
This house - property is very nice with a big living room - common area and fireplace. Unfortunately due to the excessive snow the hot tub wasn’t available. The owner is very responsive and tried to do everything possible to make up for the hot tub not being available. Would recommend a better Leaning service as the house could have been cleaner upon arrival.
Over all the cabin was good. It needs some good TLC in some areas. Location was great and so was the views!!
This was our first time visiting Duck Creek Village. We had a great time here and I would book with this property again!
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. The check in was a breeze and the cabin was well equipped. The sunsets and starry nights were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place / beauty views but it needs some minor repairs. Had to call the owner to figure out how to work the main tv and he quickly walked me through it. Instructions in his binder would have been very helpful. (U tube tv channel ? ) The hot tub is great at night stars everywhere. The quiet and the view from the front porch are great especially when the is a herd of deer 100 yards away and Not having any homes close by was perfect. Yes we would rent here again BUT not until somethings are repaired. Fix the ceiling fan over the dining room table. Put working light bulbs in the fan in the living room. Fix the ceiling fan in master bedroom ( only one speed worked ). The footrests on both couches go up BUT don't go back down. The back stoop at bottom of door is rotting away and needs to be immediately repaired before somebody steps on it and falls. Please put a few $ into this Beautiful property!!
Our stay in Duck Creek Village was wonderful, and the home was everything they advertised it to be! Our whole family was comfortable and in awe of the views right from the living room, or pretty much any room! More than that, my wife accidentally left her wedding rings in a dresser drawer, and McKay was quick to respond, get it located, and shipped back to us! Such amazing honesty and integrity! We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area! Thank you!
This house had everything our group needed for a perfect week! The hot tub after a long day of hiking was great. We had plenty of areas to relax, gather around the table for a game and even had fun playing hide and seek. Duck Creek has rentals available (side by side) that we would recommend. The stars at night are magical. We had an amazing time and have so many memories.
The house could have been cleaner. The appliances are on their last legs. The hot tub struggled to keep the water clean with a very old filter. The lot was not well kept and frankly, not very comfortable.
The location was perfect for our needs. It had been forty years since we had been to Strawberry Valley and this was just the right location for us to reminisce from. The cabin sits up the hill to give a great view but not so high up that you are winded and dizzy. Plenty of space for everyone and the dog! The hot tub was a nice treat to enjoy; new and clean. The beds were fairly comfortable but pretty worn/old. There was every kind of kitchen pot, pan, and utensil needed, but the cleanliness of the kitchen was not up to my standards. Several of the cupboards were broken and fell off when opened. We adjusted and just didn't look in those. A little TLC overall would do wonders for the place, but I understand it is a cabin in nature and some of these things are to be expected. There were TVs in most of the rooms with all the channels and the WiFi was very good too. The owners left snacks and drinks for us as a welcome which was very nice. I would recommend this cabin to all ages. Thank you!
We had Great time. The riding was awesome even though we came across 10 trees blocking trails. Cabin was beautiful, hot was wonderful after riding all day. We seen plenty of deer, pronghorns and a wild turkey. I would definitely would love to come back an rent this cabin again. Only have one small recommendation. A small address sign would have helped find the place easily.
