Great place and excellent location!

Everything was outstanding! All the amenities were amazing! The pond in the back was really nice!! The Host was very responsive, friendly and helpful! The entire cabin was clean and had all the essentials needed for our stay! We enjoyed the Rowdy Bear theme inside the cabin as well! The hosts decorated for Christmas and the decorations were a wonderful touch to our Christmas family getaway! My children told me they really enjoyed this cabin and didn’t want to leave lol! it it was such an amazing experience!!!

The cabin was very cozy and perfect for my family of 3. We went to have some family time just the three of us, and it was absolutely wonderful. We did not use the hot tub, but I'm sure it would have been great too. :)

Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a full meal. Super cute cabin, clean, tidy, and easy to get to all our favorite places.

We loved our getaway at the Rowdy Bear cabin. The property was perfect fo 2 adults and 2 kids. It was exactly as pictured / described: clean, well-appointed, with little extras like coffee, shower gel, and plenty of towels for hot tubbing and showers. Property owners were quick to reply to questions. 5-stars all the way around! We will be back.

The cabin was great and stocked with all of the cooking utensils we needed. The kids loved the games upstairs and the hammock/hot tub. Everything was clean and just as advertised!

We absolutely loved this cabin . First time visiting the area . We had no idea what to expect. Rowdy bear cabin was more then we expected. Pictures were a exact representation. Being out in the woods was a exhilarating experience, we experienced wild animals, loved it . No issues at all . We normally do the beach vacation. We tried something new and we are glad we did . We had so much fun we plan to come back on the weekends moving forward. If your looking for a fun adventure you most definitely need to stay at the Rowdy Bear it will be well worth it . I am my husband are looking forward to coming back and making more memories.

Very clean, well stocked cabin. Good area with other cabins near but not too close. Taxidermy was a big hit with the kids.

The fishing pond was cute ! The kids park and. AllThe Tv out by jacuzzi were so nice they had such cute Rowdy bear items ,towels signs it was very cute decor, enjoy your family stay we did thank you for opening up your cabin for us to enjoy..

The cabin is perfect for a family with younger kiddos. We appreciated the convenient location near the State Park where we did not have to go through the busy part of Hochatown to get to the hiking trail.

We have stayed here twice! Wife and I love the space, the amenities, and the ease of the cabin. The kids love the playground, the foosball, and the games. You won’t go wrong picking this place, but the spiral staircase will be difficult for the very young and anyone with mobility issues.

Thank you for allowing my husband and I to rent your home. Everything was PERFECT! We were able to escape the hustle of life and just relax. We are already looking at dates to come back but this time we will want to stay a few days longer. We are grateful for the time we spent at the, “Rowdy Bear”.

Had a relaxing weekend at the Rowdy Bear. The jacuzzi was a popular destination. Everything was as advertised. Area was great and very relaxing and quiet. Great location and 10 minutes from just about anything we wanted to visit. Looking forward to another weekend trip and try make the Rowdy critters proud!

This cabin is the best. We have stayed in other cabins, but this one is absolutely perfect for us.There was nothing lacking In this cabin. Last year we stayed in a cabin in somewhere near Hochatown, it had lots of big windows and doors with glass in them. The majority of them did not have any blinds, just a few with curtains that didn’t meet in the middle!! Maybe some people like the open concept, but we do not. The Rowdy Bear had nice shades, and solid wood entry doors!! It felt so good to be able to shut out the world come dark time!! We highly recommend this cabin!! The host were wonderful to communicate with also when needed.

We arrived during the arctic blast and found the heater wasn't working properly. After contacting Gary, he responded immediately by schedulingban electrician to come to the cabin. As it took longer than expected, Gary graciously offered one of his larger cabins nearby, and we moved there, where we were comfotable and warm. He even had a bottle of wine delivered to us the next day which was such a nice gesture and surprise. The cabins were both nicely appointed and we couldn't have asked for a better host. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this cabin or any of Gary's properties. You will not be disappointed! Thanks so much, Gary!

My 12 yr old son and I enjoy getaways to beautiful areas we can enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was PERFECT for us and we enjoyed every amenity. The state park was a New Year’s gift to recoup from some crazy months of work. The downtime was much needed and we will definitely come back. Hosts were above and beyond to make our stay all we could want it to be.

And it was everything people say it is. Rowdy Bear Cabin was perfect for our young family. We put the 5 and 7 year old upstairs and never worried about safety. They loved the TV and foosball upstairs, mom loved all of the storage for them. Downstairs was laid out well and had everything we needed for our stay. The play equipment outside, the hammock, the fire pit, and plenty of seating served us well. Our city kids proclaimed it paradise within the first 10 min. As for location, we found ourselves 10-15 min away from the things we wanted/needed (hiking, mini golf, Wal-Mart, etc.)We loved our time here so much, that we booked our next reservation here before we checked out. Can’t wait to get back!

Our second time staying at the Rowdy Bear and we will 100% be back for at least a third. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and host communication are unmatched! Our kids have created some precious core memories each time we’ve stayed. I am so grateful for Gary and his wife for working so hard to make their guests feel so welcome.

Rowdy bear gave us all the cabin feel vibes with the state park just less then five minutes away for all the outdoor activities. We loved the hot tub, our boys loved the loft having their own space. The area wasPerfect for walking, biking and fishing. We definitely look forward to coming back.

Beautiful cabin with lots amenities. Convenient location, close to restaurants and national park.

Property was great. Fit my family of 4 just perfect. Kids loved the fooseball table, hot tub and building camp fires each night. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need to cook while staying there. Beds were comfy, loft was perfect for littles. Will enjoy coming back to stay.

It was nice. But, we did wonder why someone came in while we went out. We new because someone left black tape on the counter. Maybe something needed work on it.

Rowdy bear has great, thoughtful character/decor, was clean and well organized. Will definitely return for another fun trip!

We had a good trip , it’s a small cabin but very nice and perfect for 3 of us as a small family, only trouble for us is the upstairs beds are too high for our toddler . So we have to move the mattress to the floor to keep him safe . Overall we love this cabin , cute place !

The property was very close to town. Very close to a restaurant. Very close to a pond. Clean and had just enough things for us to do as a family and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very nice cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the neighbors had last light that was like a disco ball and kept it on all night shining little lights in the cabin and property.

The cabin was very clean and well kept and offered many fun activities for the kids. Location was great although the other cabins were closer than we were expecting but not a huge deal breaker. If you have littles that are not familiar with stairs this might not be good choice as the spiral staircase is a little narrow and slick in socks. Overall the stay here was great!!

Very small. Didn’t like that the shower was out in the open. Looked way bigger on the online photos.

It was amazing everything was beautiful and all the amenities were in working order. Everything was clean and sanitary. We had a gas grill that I didn’t see in the photos so I was even more impressed. I will stay again 1000/10

Rowdy Bear Cabin was even better than we could have hoped. It was crystal clean when we showed up and had every amenity you could think of available. We would definitely come back!
