The house was nice and very comfortable. It’s described as sleeping 15 and it does, the only thing is the dining table is only big enough to fit 6 people around using extra stools. The kayaks, paddle boards and lily pad were very fun. And it was nice having the lift for our boat. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and it was really nice having the attached garage space. The road and driveway area is kind of tight for turning a boat trailer around (which they tell you about ahead of time) so there is a private parking lot a couple of miles away to park any trailers you bring with. While this is okay, it is also a hassle and would have been nice to know when booking. If it was in the description I missed it. There is also an extra refrig in the garage which was super nice! Some of the light bulbs were burnt out and it would be handy to have all of the light switches labeled. The property manager was responsive but our cell service around the cabin was very poor so had to drive to the casino a few miles away to communicate. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes except it only had 7 coffee cups. Also, the dishes looked nice and were in good shape, and there were two sets - one breakable and one plastic. However they are not microwave safe. The “breakable” ones would get very hot when microwaved and the plastic ones were labeled not microwave safe. Overall we enjoyed the cabin and would consider it again. Just tried to be thorough with things we noticed. Thanks!

The owners and others involved were friendly and easy to communicate with. They were respectful of our concerns. We all loved round lake and the few kayaks and paddle boards that were available for our use. Our group was extremely disappointed by the lack of cleanliness of the property. There were spiders and other insects inside and outside. The windows were also very dirty, inside and outside. The vents and fans were full of dust. I would recommend this property, but could use a good, deep clean.

The house is right on the lake with some fun water toys! Check-in and communication with the host is super easy. The house fit our family comfortably; it just needs a good power washing. Being a little remote caused cell phone connections to be very limited. We had an amazing vacation!

Overall, the location was stellar. We went just this past weekend over MEA and it was so peaceful, quiet (other than boats motoring around), just what we needed. Several things of note: 1. First and most importantly, at least one of the kayaks has a hole in it. We did not realize this, and went out for an early morning fishing trip on the lake that turned into a rescue mission when the person using the kayak could not properly keep afloat and kept slipping into the water repeatedly. Only when we returned and inspected the kayak did we realize it has duct tape over it and was taking in water. This is a serious risk to safety. The watercraft were advertised on the website and we relied on them to work as advertised and chose not to bring our own from home because we trusted that they would be in working order. If it doesn't work, don't try to duct tape it together... replace it, or don't advertise it. 2. We found several pieces of laundry that seemed improperly washed or unwashed (stiff, dry hand towels in the bathroom drawer). 3. Smoke/CO2 detectors were unplugged and in the kitchen drawer, with the unconnected wires hanging out of the ceiling. 4. Several doors were unable to be locked. The first car to arrive was able to get into the property without ever checking out the key. 5. There was a light over the fire pit that we could not find the switch to, and the property manager did not seem to know where it was either. We ended up not being able to use it.

Really enjoyed the lake and the beach! Great place to hang out with family! A few things to note: 1) one of the kayaks had a hole in it and was filled with water when we arrived. We drained the water, but it needs a patch job with some epoxy 2) one of the paddles for the paddleboards was broken upon arrival 3) there are mice in the house if you aren’t already aware Overall, really enjoyed our time! Thanks!

We stayed along with our granddaughters…and had a great week. Lovely, breezy views from the 3 season porch, kayaking on the lake and s’mores by the fire. The property owner installed wireless access in the last year, great coverage! All in all a great stay.
