Why choose our cabin We own and operate it ourselves and take a lot of pride and care in the cabin and in taking care of our guests. We are responsive and within a phone call away for any of your needs.
Recently we added beautiful Granite countertops, new hardwood flooring in the kitchen and the bathroom has a vessel sink. Relax and enjoy true Colorado mountain style surroundings! I cannot tell you how many weddings, anniversaries, and proposals have happened here.
On cleanliness, since we personally own and operate our home (not managed by a management company), we take extra precautions. This is to protect everyone who enters our home. We use clorox wipes/Lysol on all surfaces and touchpoints. Also, we use additional sanitizers in addition to our laundry soaps on our linens and bedding. I was a Director of HR for Marriott Hotels, so, I know what we are doing is going beyond industry standards. We hope you will consider our home away from home for your vacation this year. Also, the Pikes Peak region has a long history of hospitality for those who have sought a safe, clean space to heal from respiratory illness. Our nickname was once “Sun City” due to our 300 days of sunshine per year and our 1,106,604 acres of Pike National Forest, Garden of the Gods, and other parks and natural sites are the ideal way to Social Distance!
Please join us to relax and unwind in our beautiful mountain hideaway that sits on 2 acres of tall Pines and Aspens! This amazing park like setting with Evergreens and Aspens will give you a feeling of privacy, however, is within 2 miles of Hwy 24 and 2 more miles to groceries, restaurants, and gas. A cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bath with private 6 person lighted hot tub, wood stove, unlimited WIFI and Direct TV. Our property is very close to Mueller State Park, so we get a variety of wildlife.
We are conveniently located near Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and approximately 25 minutes to Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak Highway/Garden of the Gods area.
For a Colorado experience, we furnished it with log style furnishings. With large windows in the living room you feel as if the outside is a part of the inside! Look out the window one way and you are surrounded by forest and deer (they frequent the area). Look the other way and watch TV and the fire in the wood stove. No smoking is allowed in the home.
The 6 person hot tub has a lounge seat (lights and waterfall) provides the perfect spot to let the stress melt away while watching the sunset and stars! Important: We added privacy fencing on the deck in March 2021 because someone is starting to build a home to the right of our property. We still back up to open space and bought the acre to the left because we value the privacy and love to be surrounded with the Pines and Aspens.
Fire up the lava bowl next to the hot tub and watch the flames dance in the night sky. You also have unlimited WIFI, DIRECTV, Blu-ray DVD player, DVD movies and board games. The property backs up to an open meadow where you can play kickball in the summer and sledding in the winter! We provide sleds!
During summer months play horse shoes in the back yard or basketball on the half court (on concrete). Top it off with a swing in the hammock while enjoying the light breeze!
The main level includes the living room with wood stove, kitchen , dining room, bedroom (full-sized bed), laundry and full bath. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, both with queen sized beds. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, all linens, towels, soaps, shampoos, blow dryer and several other amenities.

This retreat is supplied with a binder filled with information about this property as well as the local area! This includes brochures on area attractions.

There are many attractions in the area!
Pikes Peak (elevation 14,110), Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Cripple Creek (casinos, gold mines), Woodland Park, Air Force Academy, Canon City (Royal Gorge, river rafting, train tour, zip lines, prison museums), Santa's Village, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff dwellings, Dinosaur Resource Center, ATV trails, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, wineries, breweries, and plenty of restaurants. There is something to enjoy for everyone!

Please note*** This is a NON-Smoking/vaping home. Cigarettes may be smoked outside away from windows and doors. Cigarette butts must be placed in the can provided on the back deck.

Please let us know when you book if you are celebrating something special!

If your dates are not available for this cabin, please check out our other property on VRBO # 566962. It is located close to Divide in an area with privately stocked lakes.

We loved the amenities, cleanliness, decor, and quality of the space! The hosts were super nice and easy to contact, and the cabin itself was quiet and peaceful. Sunsets on the back deck were stunning, the hot tub was clean and fun to use, and overall it was a perfect place for our first wedding anniversary!

This cabin is a real gem. It is so clean and well maintained, but more importantly it was so comfortable, cozy and welcoming. The property is beautiful and very private. Even though the cabin feels remote it is very close to town and lots of outdoor attractions. We mostly cooked our own meals but we did go out to a couple of very good local restaurants. The hot tub is wonderful, as is the wood burning stove. There were deer that came through in the evening while we were having dinner on the deck. The owners definitely take pride in this property and make a real effort to make sure you enjoy your stay. They really thought of everything and provided so many thoughtful touches. They even left us a some goodies and a nice welcome note! We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend!!

The host was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions both prior to booking and during our stay. During our stay we were looking for sleds and after looking around the property and being unable to find them, I messaged the host and Robin replied within minutes and even offered to bring some over if I couldn’t find them. This cabin had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Kids loved the hot tub and the Robin Hood theme. After watching Robin Hood one night they started to notice decorations from movie and had fun finding them. Wish our schedule allowed us to stay more than 2 nights.

Overall, I had a great stay at this Vrbo! From pulling into the driveway and seeing the Christmas lights to opening the front door and being welcomed by a lit Christmas tree, the place immediately felt warm and homey. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. The kitchen was well stocked with more than enough cooking gadgets, along with some basic cooking supplies. The bathroom had soap and shampoo provided, which was appreciated. The fireplace even came stocked with firewood—and Hershey chocolate was a fun and thoughtful touch! The only downside for me was the bed, which was a bit too soft for my personal preference. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.P.S. Checkout instructions were simple and minimal, which made leaving easy!

Robin and Henry were fantastic to book through. Their listing and communication was very thorough. We had an amazing time soaking in the hot tub after a day hiking and sightseeing. The wildlife was plentiful! We even had a pregnant deer lay near us. We were hoping to witness a miracle, but no luck while we were there. The cabin was spotless and had amenities aplenty. The kids loved the giant Hershey bar upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again!

Very relaxing...evening mountain showers dampened the CO sunsets, and there is a resident small herd of deer that wandered through the property morning and night.Description of the property is accurate, however, one note, the owners advise you of winter travel into the property but didn't mention what the gravel/dirt roads turn into after it rains. There are several steep grades into the cabin and some of the crossroads in the area (those going downhill) can wash out. Probably not an issue for SUV or pickup truck...it was an adventure in our family van. Also, remember that Divide, CO is above 9000 feet above sea level and the cabin is a few miles west of Divide and slightly higher into the mountains. Beware of the altitude. All in all, you're about 30 minutes out from Colorado Springs and can get to Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods without getting into COS traffic. Plus there's plenty of small towns in between with good local restaurants for a change of pace.

It was one of our best stays in Colorado so far! We were impressed by cleanliness of the house, its comfort, decoration and taste of the owners in every detail. The property is isolated in the forest area, so we could enjoy our romantic dinners and breakfasts without extra eyes watching you. And of course the hot tub under the night sky was the icing on the cake!We did have some visitors one morning - deers came to share our breakfast)))))It was a perfect weekend with the best memories of Colorado!

My wife and I wanted a cozy little cabin that made us feel like we were in the middle of no where surrounded by nature. Met all of the objectives plus more - as a side note for viewers, in reality there were close neighboring properties, but the terrain and trees didn't let you know it - we still felt like the only one's in the area. Super cute place and well taken care of, plan to go again!

Exactly what my wife and I wanted for our wedding anniversary. Super cozy and quiet cabin (and hot tub!) with daily visits from deer/wildlife. Divide is small, but has everything you need. Cabin is located close to a lot of attractions (drove to Pikes Peak summit and visit Royal Gorge!). Beautiful scenery. Also Robin was extremely responsive and helpful. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in the past, but this was the first rental property that really had all the amenities available and stocked. Highly recommend, and we look forward to visiting again soon!
