When I saw Andy's cabin all I could say was WOW. The cabin is situated so it's very private & peaceful...This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed unplugging & reconnecting with each other. - Dana

Bear Creek is located creek side between the charming mountain towns of Bryson City & Sylva in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee.

Come for a relaxing and romantic stay or use as a home base for your Mountain adventures.

The cabin was out of a story book, cozy, warm and nicely decorated. - Maria

Our adorable and cozy little cabin is situated along side Conleys Creek and is the perfect spot to escape the noise of the daily grind and reconnect with your partner. Take time to soak in the Hot Tub, rock away on the large front porch and relax to the serene sounds of the babbling creek, huddle up around the firepit, spin some vintage records on the record player, play games at the dining room table, or just snuggle under a blanket on the couch and watch a movie together.

We loved the cabin! We really didn't want to leave. The best thing is the calming sounds of the creek across the street. The area in which the property is located is breathtaking...We enjoyed the fire pit every night...My boyfriend and I slow danced to some of the tunes on the record player; our stay was fun and romantic. I definitely recommend! - Josephine

If you enjoy getting out and about then Bear Creek is your perfect home base to take it all in. The cabin has easy in and out access to Bryson City, Sylva, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee, Lake Fontana, GSM Railway, Tail of the Dragon motorcycle mecca, Blue Ridge Parkway scenic drive, Tsali Trails, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Harrahs Casino and Cherokee Resort, Golfing, Asheville, and Haywood Smokehouse- a Nationally recognized BBQ joint. Fishing, Hiking, Waterfalls, Rafting, Mountain Biking, Boating, Gambling, Breweries, tubing, antiquing, kayaking, golfing, and more are all only a 20 minute drive away!

This cabin was in the perfect area! Peaceful, but close enough to Cherokee, the National park and Bryson city! The views were also a plus! So much to do in the area, or just the perfect place to rest and restore on the gorgeous wrap around porch. Overall one of the best trips we’ve taken together. Thanks again!! - Alicia

Alas, if your idea of a Mountain Getaway is to hole up, unplug and get away from it all, then our cozy, romantic cabin is your ideal spot.

You will feel your muscles relax the second you walk through our doors. The cabin is secluded, next to a babbling creek and tucked away in a Mountain Valley.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, we have designed the cabin to facilitate a deeper connection to your partner!

There is purposely no WiFi to distract you so you can kick back and enjoy some quality time with each other.

Play some vintage vinyl on our record player, cozy up by a fire in the fire pit, take a soak in the HOT TUB, get engrossed in a movie, or get out the 'couple conversation starter' games for deeper connections.

Do it up right and grill some steaks on the grill, play games, listen to the sounds of the creek while rocking on the front porch, do puzzles or read to your hearts content.

With one queen size bed in the Master bedroom and a king size bed in the loft, it is perfect for a romantic getaway with your partner, or even works for a small family or friends retreat.

Speaking of family, if you want to bring your pet, please do so we are happy to host the entire family (2 pet max). There is a $50 pet fee which covers the extra cleaning time and laundering that our cleaner charges us for the additional attention required to do so. If you can't find the option to indicate you are bringing your pet upon booking, we will request it after the fact.

Beautiful cabin with very nice features. Tucked away halfway between Bryson City and Sylva. Two nice areas to explore for shopping, food, and drinks. Host was very communicative and addressed questions and concerns we had in a timely manner. Plenty of dishes and utensils, but no dishwasher. Great selection of movies and records with a very nice stereo system and record player. Comfortable beds and couch. We did have some issues with reception. My partner and I both have Verizon. Looking up places to eat and visit and directions were difficult so I’d recommend anyone staying to plan ahead. There was one section of the cabin by the bedroom window where we could get two bars of service. Would stay here again

Cabin was very cute and welcoming! The porch is super wide and nice for sitting and rocking in the chair. It wraps around to the hot tub! Andy was very easy to talk to, accommodating and kind. Would highly recommend the stay. The home is very cozy and clean. Drive way is pretty steep, definitely ideal if you can get the lay of the land in the light first. The porch does not have a shutting gate on both ends at this time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a little escape! The decor is tasteful, the furniture was comfy.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for us and our two beagles. The listing was exactly as described, and communication with the host was easy and seamless. We loved unplugging with no Wi-Fi. The soothing sound of the nearby creek, along with the record player, fire pit, and hot tub, made it an ideal mountain getaway. We would happily stay again.

The cabin is as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large selection of movies. Recommend the Lincoln Lawyer it was our first time watching it and really enjoyed it. Great relaxing weekend away to unwind. Enjoyed the Fourth of July festival in Bryson City. Loved the front porch rocking chairs with the Mountain View and sound of the creek.

Upon arriving there were a few things that stood out. The overgrowth of vegetation around the cabin was extensive. The front door, stairway, and porch windows were of the cabin was covered in spider webs. That being said, i understand we were in the woods but in my opinion it was just not cleaned properly. While thete were two propane tanks available the grill was not clean and had not been cleaned in weeks. Going into the cabin there was a basic clean but still we had to clear out some spider webs and the bathroom had broken bottle of shampoo in the shower. All that i said sounds bad but Andy seems to be a nice guy. I dont blame him i blame his housekeeper for getting over on him. I dont think he visits the property often and his housekeeper uses it to her advantage by doing a half-ass job. The area is beautiful he has a pretty good record and dvd selection, and unplugging and spending quality time with the wifey was worth it.

Bear Creek cabin was absolutely THE BEST!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...it felt like home away from home ( without the stress if work ) The cabin is SO close to a ton of local attractions and has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and creek while relaxing in the hot tub The host, Andy, was absolutely PHENOMENAL with his communication and seemed to always be available no matter the time...we will definitely be back for additional relaxation at Bear Creek!!
