Stayed Dec 29, 2025The property was perfect for a family vacation. The area is remote, away from BB traffic. As a past cabin owner who loves the area but tired of the traffic of Hotchatown, this is a perfect location.

Stayed Dec 24, 2025This house was just beautiful and very comfortable. The setting was so serene, so quiet and the river was right out the back door. The kitchen was amazing and state of the art. The bathrooms were so luxurious with heated floors and heated towel racks. The deck on the back had a great view of the river and was so comfortable to just relax on. We saw deer, armadillos, beavers, wild pigs and lots of squirrels. No Saskwatch though!

Stayed Nov 28, 2025This was one of the most beautiful properties we've ever stayed. Everything was at it's place including the outdoors. The location was well picked and the home was well decorated and built. The home had lots of modern premium appliances and decor that makes us feel the luxury. The host was available at a call. The blending of the property with the nature was the best of it. Will return to this one again.

Stayed Nov 24, 2025*Our stay at Chillin on the River was everything we hoped for and more. We spent Thanksgiving week there with our family, and the cabin was exactly as described—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. Its remote location made it the perfect escape to unplug and enjoy some quiet time together. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the décor was both cozy and inviting. We would absolutely return to this wonderful retreat!*

Stayed Oct 16, 2025Chillin' on the River is an appropriate name for this beautiful property. It backs up to the river right out your back door with access to the water via a dock and you can get right down to the water too via a steep ramp. We enjoyed sitting on the back wrap around porch in the back drinking coffee. The area is well hidden and very secure with the last couple of miles gravel roads keeping it away from the outside world and very secure behind a locked gated road. Follow the directions given to you on the email for the last couple of turns (not gps as it will take you to a road that may be blocked by a train crossing). The game room was lots of fun for the whole family. We played pool, ping pong and other games in the spacious game room where there were two comfortable bunk beds (full size mattress bottoms/single bed tops on each bunk) and above that on the second floor a private queen bedroom suite. Adjacent to this was the main part of the house where there are two large bedroom suites, kitchen, beautiful living room that overlooks the river with large glassed-in wall. We sat at the fire pit at night and talked and did smores. There is a charcoal grill outside as well. The area is heavily wooded and lots of wildlife and easy access to all you would want to do in Broken Bow and the surrounding area. The house is modern and beautiful. We did try to fish each day but never got any bites from the dock but still enjoyed the beautiful river. The kitchen is well stocked with spices. utensils, etc. and large with everything you would want for cooking. There is a coffee maker with regular and pod coffee. The main house is elevated up a few easy rise stairs (seen in the picture and the back stairs are similar). If you are limited in your ability to walk upstairs (i.e. need a walker or wheelchair), then would not recommend this property but no issue if you are ambulatory otherwise. The night sky reveals bright star lit skies through the trees and the place is very quiet with zero road noise as it is off the beaten path. Bedding was very comfortable, and the house has everything you would want. If you desire a private, beautiful, modern get away that is still close enough to the action this place would be perfect.

Stayed Jul 28, 2025This is our 2nd stay with Mt Fork Management and they do not dissapoint. They think of everything! Place is clean and well supplied. This stay was an end of summer hang out for my teenage daughter and her friends. Plenty of things to do so they never got bored. Neighbors were friendly and helpful with pointers regarding the river. Management was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. We are looking forward to the next stay!
