Stayed Jul 19, 2025Property was nice and it was close to the river. A little on the expensive side for being an older place, but I would definitely stay there again with a little larger party to break up the cost a little. With bunk beds in the one room, you could sleep 4 children and then 4 adults in the others. I think they described it as sleeping 10 people…but definitely not 10 adults. Overall a nice place that is well kept and we had a nice stay…would recommend for 2 families max.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025We had our two boys aged 11 and 12 and it was all about the swimming hole! Truly a gift. Yosemite itself is just an overcrowded hot desert mountain but the reason we’d ever come back is bc of this spot. Inside the park so you can avoid the lines/check in? Heck yeah. The market right up the road has everything you need including delicious tuna steaks which I cooked on the grill! Decent amount of kitchen supplies but be sure to ready to wash. Not the biggest kitchen. All in all, a great place and we’d love to come back one day in the future.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025We had a very nice stay in this cabin. What an advantage to stay inside the park! The river was so refreshing. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The river really is the star of the property.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025The house was clean and the instructions to find it and to get into the house and the check-in check-out process were flawless. One thing to be aware of the downstairs bedroom has two bunkbeds so that sleeps for., not three bunkbeds, like it says in one location. The jumping rock and the river are gorgeous. The wildlife was great. It was wonderful being in Yosemite for a couple nights. We are looking forward to visiting again in the futureIt was my wife and myself three teenagers and one adult child

Stayed Jul 26, 2024I know Wawona fairly well and this cabin is positioned perfectly! It’s right above the main swimming hole and the sound of the river is amazing at night. It’s an old cabin but has everything you need.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024We really enjoyed our stay, despite arriving in mid July during a heatwave and realizing there is no AC. I completely overlooked that detail in the listing and we were traveling with our older parents who were not pleased. The cabin is very rustic but clean and there are fans in every room. The river below is gorgeous but getting down is steep! My parents were unable to get down to the river which was a bummer. We, on the other hand, enjoyed floating and swimming every afternoon after we got back from Yosemite Valley. Also, the Chilnualna Falls trail in the neighborhood is a must do! So beautiful and a quick hike.

Stayed Jun 30, 2024We enjoyed our stay in Wawona very much. It was a perfect spot to stay and visit Yosemite. The house overlooks the Merced River and we spent a lot of time down at the river. Please note, there is no air conditioning. For most of our stay that worked fine, but we did have one evening that it was quite warm and for some reason that also happened to be the same night a very rowdy group of young people went down to the river well past quiet time hours. Every other day, it was actually pretty quiet on our little dead end street. The house is older, but in good shape. It fit our family well and there is a lot of deck space outside to sit and enjoy looking over the river at the end of a day. I would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

Stayed Jun 24, 2024Lovely cabin with stellar and serene views of the south Merced River. Located inside Yosemite Park was extremely convenient and we saved hours of waiting in car lines to enter the park. In the mornings we explored Yosemite National Park and in the afternoons we swam, fished, and played in the river. There is a lovely market called Pine Tree at the end of the street, a nice walk to pick up any items needed for the week. At night we fell asleep to the calming sounds of the river below. Would 10 out of 10 recommend. Such a beautiful and memorable trip for our family.
