Nice cabin with more than expected room. The shower drain was slow, washing machine made some weird noises and the gas stove wouldn’t light. Regardless of these small concerns we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Th house was so cozy and cute! We lived the location close to downtown and on the River stream. We would love to stay again one day.

Property owner insisted on downloading state ID which was a little creepy.

Cabin was perfect for our anniversary get away. The decor is beautiful, location was great, creek was amazing, and the bear was super cool coming across the yard.

The property is located probably within a quarter of a mile from Trolley Stop 2 which is an easy walk. Also only a mile and a half walk to the Ober tram. House situated on a dead-end street. Great location because different members of group can simply walk to area attractions. My husband hates the hustle and bustle of tourist destinations, but this place felt like it is tucked into the forest right on the river. There is a larger hotel across the river that does cast a lurid glow from fluorescent lights in their parking garage, but for price, comfort, and location, it is not a deal breaker.Do not suggest for families with toddlers/young children because railings are not around the patio area, and a fall from that location to the river would probably cause injuries. We brought the family dog. Easy neighborhood to walk him.The house is small, but it does have 2 full bathrooms which is nice! My 21 year-old daughter used the second bedroom, and my 17 year-old son used the foldout sofa in the sitting room, so each person had their own space. The hot tub was clean and ready to go when we got there. This was our first time staying in Gatlinburg, so I suggest stopping at grocery store before you get there. Also, pick up some firewood too.We would rent again.

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4. By far the location is the biggest selling point. It's right on the edge of town so easy to walk in one direction or drive away from traffic in the other. It would be better for a couple with no kids probably due to the size, but it was fine with our teenagers and the second bathroom is a big plus. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the lack of amenities provided. If they upgraded the towels and bedding and eliminated the need to pack paper products It would be 5 for sure. The good: location is perfect, walkable to downtown Gatlinburg and easy driving access to the bypass/National Park and Pigeon Forge; parking is right outside the door; nice river frontage The not-so-good: towels are tiny and rough - think hotel pool towels. The sheet was too small for the bed I slept on and it came off every night, making for less than ideal sleep. Very stingy with the bedding - nothing extra including nothing for the pull out sofa. One of the bedroom tv receivers didn't work and there was all kinds of signage warning us to leave it alone or we would be charged. Hot tub is fine for 2 but crowded after that.

Cabin was great! Excellent, quiet location and easily in walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. My wife loved the coziness of it and the retro decor. Cabin was clean and check in was very smooth. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed staying at this cute little place near the strip. The stream in the backyard was so nice. Being able to walk to the strip was amazing considering the traffic was rough on the weekend. Wish there was some time of handrail on the back patio and the dryer makes and very loud noise when operating. Other than that we will absolutley stay here again.
