Convenient home base after visiting Elkins the first night and exploring Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, and Seneca. Dinner at Smoke on the Water and a nice fire by the water was a perfect end to a great day

Was a very nice stay. Very relaxing and beautiful property

A buddy and I stayed for the weekend for a trout fishing man's weekend. The cabin worked out perfectly for us. easy access. parking directly in front. small kitchen and small 4 burner stove was perfect for 2 fellas. bathroom was adequate for 2 bigger guys. 1 guy in full bedroom and 1 guy on futon couch. The full bed bedroom would be a bit small for me and my wife as its just a full bed, But for 1 guy in room and 1 guy sleeping on futon couch. was just fine. had the basic needs, plates, cups, skillets, coffee pot, microwave, fullsize fridge.. etc etc. Wifi worked and Hot tub was a nice add on. Erik was super nice - stopped by and spoke to us for a few and talked about trout fishing and some good locations if we didn't already have some in mind. All in all - was a great lil spot and at a nice price. Only thing maybe to look at would be changing/updating the bed/futon for a bigger guy it was little rougher on sleep. But again that was just one small thing. Would definitely go back, Great place. solid 9 out of 10. Thanks!!

Erik is the absolute best. We love our stay everytime we are able to get away and stay at the cabin. It's our favorite place to go.

This cozy cabin is perfectly situated for exploring West Virginia's many attractions. Being right on the river was so peaceful, and the hot tub was a major highlight! The listing really doesn't do it justice and undersells how amazing this place is!

This was such a great little getaway! Erik, our host is a joy! We were there as the leaves were beginning to change! It was cool and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning! Perfect getaway cabin for a couple! We will be going back!

Enjoyed the entire time we were there-

Everything was exceptionally clean and all amenities/instructions were as expected upon arrival. The supplemental driving instruction to the cabin were clear and easy to follow. Had a chance to walk down to Whiskey River Grill for dinner and drinks would definitely recommend for future guests. Overall a great time at the cabin.

Absolutely wonderful! The location is beautiful! We got a late start so it was dark ,patchy fog and some rain when we arrived to the area. Erik our host was great with helping us find the cabin in the weather. He was very helpful and genuinely cared about our experience. The cabin was perfect, well maintained, clean, well stocked and the hot tub was great after long days of fishing and being outdoors. The wifi worked but could be slow at times but that was probably because of weather. It rained most of the days were were there it was still by far amazing! The area is a great place to travel to see sights. Blackwater Falls and Seneca Rocks and just the area in general. There is a train that comes through from Elkins we are going to check out next visit. Would 100 % recommend this location!!!

We had an amazing trip! The property was private and quiet, with a long stretch of river frontage. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was enjoyable.

The cabin was so welcoming and comfortable. We took advantage of the firepit along the river nightly just listening to the water and nature. The hot tub was a special perk for me. Also took the opportunity to read 2 books available at the cabin.

My wife and I stayed a couple days and really enjoyed our time. Erik was a very good host and made sure everything was in order for our stay. We really enjoyed the deck and hot tub.

Wonderful stay at the Boardwalk.Lovely cabin on a beautiful bend with a deep hole there in the river for fishing or swimming right on the property.With the windows open and heard the river, ive never slept better.Erik is an awesome host.

We enjoyed 2 nights in this sweet little cabin nestled next to a trout stocked river! (My husband’s favorite) The cabin was very clean and had all the necessities. Highly recommend.

Quiet, quaint and intimate

Erik was a wonderful host, and Boo his dog is such a cutie! Check in was super easy and the cabin was clean and ready for us. West Va had been hit with a lot of snow, but that didn’t stop us from having a beautiful time! The hot tub was perfect for warming up! A lil birdie told me it’s fun to go from the hot to to making snow angels in the snow . We had all the amenities and housewares we needed to make our 3 day trip great. The shower was really satisfying too! Bring some hand soap and paper products - otherwise you’re all set! If you go - check out Blackwater Falls! Thanks again Erik! We hope to be back in warmer weather.

This cabin was so cozy, just what we needed for a weekend away.

The atmosphere of the cabin was just what we were looking for; relaxing and homey. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect! It was exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

Our overall experience at the cabin is great. Erik is terrific when it comes to communication and being helpful. You have tons of privacy and your own private river. I'd probably live there. My only recommendation is that the mattress be updated cause my old body didn't sleep very well. But the hot relaxing hot tub on the porch helped out. I would definitely stay here again and next time it would be the summer.

We spent a weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. Erik was very helpful and a super nice host. We loved the fire pit by the river, and the hot tub was absolutely amazing to relax. The cabin was super cozy, comfy and clean. Our dog Ava who came with us, loved the area and enjoyed sunbathing by the river. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Erik was very hospitable during our stay. He answered our questions in a timely manner and had a backup key to help us back into the cabin after we locked ourselves out. The foosball coffee table was a great surprise to walk into, we really enjoyed our time!
