Furniture and decor were very mountain oriented. Very clean. Loved the theatre room, arcade games , pool table, hot tub and stuffed black bear in the living room. Very clean and everything you need.

Unsafe Conditions, Poor AC, and Unresponsive Management – Disappointed StayDon't stay anywhere associated with Bear Tract Rentals Check their yelp reviews.Issues started July 14 when I reported the upstairs was over 80F.July 15, a tech was sent. He said parts were needed for AC repair and no immediate fix was provided.July 16, a portable AC unit was placed in a bedroom—not the main living area. I voiced concerns no reply.July 17, my special needs daughter slipped on water from the portable unit, which was installed without connecting the drainage hose. I began calling at 7:37 AM and asked for escalation. Despite multiple assurances, no one called until noon, and even then it was only to say a manager would call later. That never happened.July 18, the manager finally called but seemed unaware or unconcerned about the safety hazard. She promised follow-up, but we were also locked out of the cabin that evening using the same entry code we were given at check-in.This property is aesthetically nice, but our experience was frustrating, unsafe, and mismanaged. A 200 refund doesn’t begin to compensate for the heat, hazard, and lack of response we dealt with.The owner has the audacity to say we unplugged the unit and created unsafe conditions. And that we were entering the correct door code. After staying in the unit 5 days with no problems with the door we started getting it wrong. They are pathetic

Even when cabin equipment has problems, they try to work to make it right. Really appreciate them!

Reviewer Comments: Modern Clean Roomy and comfortable in our BEAR TRACTS Log Cabin!Three generations of family enjoyed this beautiful Cabin called Bear Pause! Four King Bedrooms Three levels gave everyone space to use all the amenities including a recreation room with pool table and videos games along with a theatre room with wonderful seating acoustics and big screen tv that made you feel like you were in a real theater! The hot tub was a big hit for some of our group and the huge dining table was great for everyone to gather around and eat and chat about the day’s adventures! The rental was well managed and maintained can’t wait to go back againTHANK YOU BEAR TRACTS FOR MAKING OUR VACATION EXPERIENCE WONDERFUL!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cabin was great, lots of room for all guest. The view was amazing from all 3 decks. Great location, not far from everything but yet far enough to feel secluded and peaceful. There are 2 minor complaints about the cabin, the first being the grill and hot tub are located on the lowest level deck. This makes it hard for someone with a physical disability to enjoy because they have to climb 3 flights of stairs. And the kitchen and everything is on the main floor, so it would make more since to me that the grill be on that level, along with the hot tub in my opinion. So other than those 2 things, everything was fantastic, and would definitely stay again and recommend.

Our only downsides were that the jets on one of the jacuzzi tubs was not working (management tried to fix, but it looks like it was going to take more extensive repairs). We also had a really hard rain one day and two of the windows started to leak on the first floor. Nothing major, but I could see that causing damage for the property owners over time if someone was not there to sop up the water. Also, it would be great to have shades in the theater room (hard to watch in the daytime, but great at night). Bear Tracts management and maintenance were great to work with, explorie customer service was easy to call and sent free tickets to events in minutes. Overall we had a great time, and hope to do it again in the future.
