Must see! This adorable, knotty pine one-bedroom cabin is located within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake, and RMNP.
This 1940's cabin is loaded with historic character and located on a peaceful, aspen-filled lot within Grand Lake village. This quaint cabin has been renovated with fresh pine, but it's historic integrity has been maintained. (Please note that, because the integrity has been maintained, the doorways and beams are low for people approximately 6 feet tall and taller.) This charming cabin has a queen-size
bed, separate living and kitchen areas, bath, cozy gas fireplace, and cable television. Gas stove and microwave available. Charcoal grill, fire pit, and sitting area located outside. Use the coffee-maker in the morning, or wander downtown to one of the local lake-side coffee shops. Perhaps just lounge in the outside seating area and watch for wildlife to wander through the area. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.) This cabin's charm, quiet environment, and walking-distance proximity to town, the lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park trailheads make it an easy choice for a vacation stay.

This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.

Do you have family/friends who are also planning to vacation We have two nearby charming cabins. (listing numbers 611187 and 899178).

I think they could do better cleaning the inside of the cabin. The outside area had old cigars and cigarette butts on the ground. The one lounging chair by the fire pit was broken. The grounds are muddy. Neighbors dogs barking all the time and 2 staffers spent a good amount of time checking out a bout left on the property. Ceiling fans were very loud inside. 3/5.

It was a beautiful setting for our Christmas this year . This was a dream for my wife to have a quiet setting to enjoy Christmas in a small mountain cabin. We attended a candle light service at a local church and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the folks we met. For me, the cabin more than I expected and very comfortable.

Everything was great. I loved the old rustic charm of the cabin. Past reviews have shown complaints about the shower being small and the beams and doorways being low. I felt the shower had great water pressure. I also loved the way the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils and Seasonings we could have needed. If I did have a suggestion it would be to have the cabins have names to them. Otherwise if I could give more than a five-star rating I would. Thank you to The Host for helping us so quickly with the electronic lock.

The cabin was cozy and delightfully, creatively decorated. The ability to walk to Grand Lake and the close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, sightseeing and elk watching made it an ideal location for us.

Perfect cabin for me and my dog! We had a wonderful visit. Love the fireplace. Rebekah was a wonderful host and very prompt in replying to my questions. Also, enjoyed the thorough cabin handbook with lots of ideas from food, hikes, recreation, and a lot more.

Enjoyed staying at this cute little cabin. All the comforts of home in a small package! Stayed for 2bdays while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. Location provided easy access to the park as well as close to town. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful and cosy cabin, very clean and well equipped. Grand lake is a stunning area to visit, much quieter than the other side of Rocky Mountain National Park but still lots of trails to do and things to enjoy

This is a great little rustic cabin, really perfect for two and of course, our little French Bulldog. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants and Grand Lake. Very clean. Check in very easy. Our whole stay was enjoyable. We enjoyed our fire circle at night. Was quiet and quaint. I would definitely rent again for another mountain retreat.

We loved staying at this quaint little house. It's nestled in the trees so it feels private, and it's an easy to walk to the lake town. Taller people (6 feet) might struggle with the ceiling height/shower size, but you also might find that a few head bumps are worth it to stay in this cute spot!

Return visit to this charming little cabin that we visited 5yrs ago and everything is exactly as we remember. Very cozy, quaint and comfortable and ohhh so quiet. Cooking our meals in were very practical with all the amenities. Rebekah checked in with us a few times even though she was traveling herself. Love this place and will definitely book again. Will try out a spring or summer visit.

Check in was a breeze, Rebekah provided detailed directions and Instructions. The cabin was cute and rustic with all the modern conveniences needed. Loved the hot water pressure, even though the shower is quite small. The bed was so comfortable and sleeping with the windows open was great. Walking distance to the lake and Grand Avenue. Great hiking close by but with a dog you can't go into RMNP but many other dog friendly hikes. Everyone in town was so friendly and The Hub opens early for coffee and breakfast so that was a great ritual and then a walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

This is a very cozy and well maintained cabin. It had all the essentials one would need for a short stay. The area and surrounding homes were very quiet. So much peace. Great communication with host as well. Would definitely go back.

Cabin was in the perfect location for access to the west side of RMNP. Fun town that was an easy walk. We enjoyed kayaking on Grand Lake, as well as daily hiking in RMNP. Cabin is true to it's description...small, but it was comfortable and clean. Only suggestion would be to update dishes, pots/pans. Many have seen better days. There was only 1 butter knife available.
