Guest Access:

As our guest, you'll have full access to the entire property, except for a few areas reserved for house supplies. Plus, as part of the Big Bear resort, you can enjoy fantastic community amenities, including:

▷ Clubhouse

▷ Exercise room

▷ Recreation facilities

▷ Outdoor pool (10 AM - 10 PM)

▷ Indoor pool & hot tub (10 AM - 10 PM)

Parking around Big Bear Resort is generally available, but it can feel a bit tight — kind of like city parking, especially during busier times. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. The spots aren't assigned, but there's usually enough for everyone staying in the complex.

If you have more than one vehicle, there's Excess Parking nearby, plus a few extra spots in front of and behind the condo buildings up the hill. No trailers or motorhomes unless they can fully fit into a standard-sized parking space.

The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is a fantastic blend of convenience, mountain charm, and resort-style amenities. Located within Big Bear Resort, this area is perfect for those looking to enjoy the best of Pigeon Forge while still having a peaceful retreat in the Smoky Mountains.

▶︎ Please click Show Host Guidebook or visit my profile and check out our guidebook for must-visit spots. Hope you love exploring the Smokies!

Getting Around:

The drive is easy — just a half mile off the Parkway in a developed area. Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road.

The tub inside was dirty. The Christmas tree was half lit the fireplace didn’t light up all the way. The toilet leaked emailed them and also tried calling with never no answer or anyone fixing anything. The upstairs people were so loud at 4:30 in the morning beating and banging all hours. Will I ever stay here again absolutely not. The plugs in the bathroom didn’t even work either. So much. The toilet seat was falling off I have pictures to prove everything.

Poor communications. The host declined to answer a question about early check in. The email said if we wanted early check in, we should ask the host, WHICH WE DID TWICE. The fireplace wouldn't work, but that was a small annoyance. The hot tub was GREAT. The place is definitely due for a bit of a remodel, but we would definitely stay here again.

Overall decent stay, spent 5 days here, first of all very confusing lay out of property, parking was especially tight (due to bigger truck) have to literally walk a very steep hill to get to the cabin (not their fault) but was annoying to have to sit outside cabin for over 15 minutes trying to reach out to host to get into the cabin (this shouldn’t have been an issue) once inside the cabin it wasn’t terrible as someone who travels a lot I have seen worse, though it does call for an update, couch was worn and you can tell, it was decently clean there was dust build up in some places but overall was not bad, hot tub was great my kid loved it. Biggest complaint I have with the cabin is that for a 4 night 5 day stay was we only got 3 towels to make do for the entire trip!? Also no washer or dryer in cabin or really anywhere near the cabin so that was a disappointment as well. Did hear the people upstairs a lot but that’s not the host fault. Overall not a bad stay just need some minor touch ups on some things.

I loved that the location is very close to where ever you want to go in the Piegon Forge area. 2 blocks away from the main road in Piegon Forge. If you are sensitive to noise just be aware the cabin may be located on the bottom of another multi level unit. Although we had no complaints about the people that stayed above us, if someone with small kids that run around, I see where it could be a bother. The cabin was really clean and easy to access. Hot tub did not have enough water inside to usable, however we didn't come for the cabin hot tub.

We drove 12 hours to get to this cabin straight through. The owner was made aware that we would be arriving late in the morningI don’t fault the owner because he should not be on call 24/7 (hence why there’s a company)But baby…. This answering service was absolutely useless… We were locked out of our cabin, in the cold, with no other hotels or rooms available in the area for FIVE HOURS before someone contacted us.Again the owner was able to send us a message via the app but I don’t understand why the over night people couldn’t provide a better resolution. Other than that? The Cain was beautiful. Just make sure you arrive during the day otherwise you’ll be outside until someone wakes up.

Aweful !! Hard to park, long walk to cabin, rotten and loose rails & stairs. Absolutely no view and loud traffic. Ive been going to the smokey mountains since i was a kid and this was the worst place ive ever stayed. Thank goodness the price was reasonable. If it was any higher it would be a rip off. The toilet was leaking when you flushed it from around the seal. I told the host about it, and they said, don't worry about it.They'll fix it later...it had an odor for 3 days definitely a 2 out of 10. If you have any kind of handicap or health problems or small children, I would not recommend this cabin...

Perfect spot for our family of 4. Kroger is right down the hill making it easy to stock up on food and supplies and not fight traffic in Pigeon Forge. Very central to tons of attractions. We loved the hot tub on the deck overlooking the city. ? Great communication from the owners as well! Some things that could be improved were the couch- it’s very worn and flaking so it got all over if it was sat on and it would stick to my kids skin. The pull out mattress was really thin with the metal bar being felt when laying on it. Also, it was super slick trying to get from the hot tub to the shower because there is one main rug in the living room and that’s it. The indoor pool was closed during our stay which was also stinky since we had 2 kiddos looking forward to swimming, but that’s no fault of the owners obviously. For the price though, these things wouldn’t hold us from rebooking in the future.

This property is in a great location and is well maintained. The grill was great and we enjoyed grilling dinner on the back deck. Bringing in luggage was a tad bit difficult as there is no parking in front of the property. You must park slightly away from the properties front entrance. You then walk up a steep hill to the property and down a flight of stairs. This is a lower level of a cabin that has another cabin on top. Not an issue as long as the people on top walk quietly.....and doesn't drop anything.

They made this seem like a secluded cabin in the ad only to get there and there was no parking. You had to carry everything up the side of a mountain then down 2 flights of stairs. It has nice furniture and was clean just not what was projected in the ad. They were very responsive and helped but further in the future I will have to do more research.. there were kids pouring water from the hot tub upstairs which why is there a hot tub over mine anyway. Mediocre experience
