Worked the first night with the host trying to get the Internet on as of course it was also the TV worked 3 hours on that. My wife and kids decided not to come because of the internet problems. You know how kids in the internet are. That didn't help my attitude about the trip. Well on day two I went and had breakfast then I came back and once again the internet was not working. I made the decision at that time that I was going home the next morning. I didn't want to spend my entire trip working on the internet. This is a very beautiful place and quite large and had the internet been working everything would have been great, but it's not my job to make sure it is working. It is the job of the host. I probably sound like I'm complaining a lot about the internet but I also had some work to do when I was there and of course did not accomplish that either..After I left I called the office of the cabin and informed them about several things that was wrong and also took videos of that in case it came back on me. The faucet was about to fall off the sink, huge crack in the retaining wall outside, and a couple of the things that I don't remember right off the top of my head. The agent for the cabins assured me they would be calling me back the next day but of course they didn't bother. Yeah I wasted 1,000 for absolutely nothing but to be disappointed. Maybe I'll have better luck next time somewhere else.

Don't like the steep driveway but got used to it good thing we have 4WD. The cabin is nice.We like the bear came to the house, couple of raccoons, we like the pool table and the arcade. We like the privacy. Internet is good. Cookwares and utensils all clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen was well stocked with all you need for cooking and eating. Floorplan worked great for our party and with a full sized washer and dryer for laundry, all the necessities were covered. The balcony view was great. My only complaint was that there was planned construction during the duration of our trip and we were not informed beforehand. The groundsman were replacing the drainage system at the end of the driveway, which was loud for 4 of the 5 days of our stay. It interrupted our hopes for a relaxing morning coffee on the balcony. Our last night they worked through the night so we could possibly get access to our driveway the next morning. There were 3 times, including the evening before we left, that we had to track up the steep driveway to get to our cabin and tote all of our belongings from the vacation down to load into our vehicle the next morning. If you are not in decent health, there was no way you could make it up and down the driveway, especially pulling your luggage. Thankfully we’re all healthy and we’re able but trying to explain how steep the driveway is, is difficult to do without seeing.Management was great, communicated well and were very responsive. We did get a 6% discount due to our frustrations with the construction and us not being informed beforehand. Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely! Would I appreciate the construction not interrupting our days, nights, relaxation.. more than you know.
