Red Cardinal Lodge 3 bedroom, 2 bath w/ Game Room

This was our second time and again we had a phenomenal stay! It had everything we needed. Spotless and cozy. The attention to the details was amazing. Our hosts were wonderfully accommodating and very nice to work with. Thank you! Highly recommend booking!

The Red Cardinal Lodge was one of the best places I’ve rented! The cabin was stunning! The design and fixtures are beautiful and the amenities are fantastic! The host were the most accommodating, stocking every room with all the things you might need - a s’mores kit, picnic items, Q-tips and make-up wipes in the bathroom, blow dryers, every kitchen accessory imaginable, laundry facilities, towels galore, extra beds and linens, throw blankets, serving ware, coffee, waters, sodas, you name it! They went way above and beyond!! They even left us a platter of fresh baked cookies! They were AMAZING!!! The location is perfect for skiing, hiking, the Ohio State Reformatory, 1285 winery, food, and much more! The property is beautiful and offers so much to do - an incredible game room, hot tub, tons of i door and outdoor entertainment space, books, a pond, and relaxing energy. We will definitely rent again when we are in the area! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Best VRBO we have ever booked! We cook our own meals a lot so the dishware/cookware being fully stocked was such a blessing! We would highly recommend, especially with a group going to Snow Trails nearby

This is by far our best rental property we have stayed at through out the country. The house was magnificent, super clean, updated & cozy. The game room was a surprise bonus and the back yard was amazing with all the different seating areas. Nancy & Doug went above and beyond as far as we are concerned with accommodations and extra amenities they provide. Communication was spot on with responses back in less than 30 minutes to our many questions throughout the process. We had a wonderful stay at Cardinal Lodge. The hosts went above and beyond. The house is well stocked and has an abundance of activities to keep us entertained. Sitting on the porch every morning and enjoying a cup of coffee was wonderful It is very nicely decorated. We plan to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love the opportunity to spend more time here at the red cardinal lodge. Our boys enjoyed the fish pond and caught a huge bass. All the children enjoyed the game room. The beds were super comfy and our host had so many extras with fresh flowers on the table and snack basket and anything we could possibly wish for! 5 ? for sure!!!

VRBO should assign special Premium rankings to properties like this one that go above and beyond. Everything was thought of when stocking this house. From extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom, towels and slippers out by the hot tub, to a personalized welcome basket that had something for all ages. Every room had something extra that made our room so much more enjoyable. The two downstairs bedrooms are huge! One has an extra twin bed that can be used, and the mattress is unbelievably comfortable. My children enjoyed being able to spread out a little more. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. And they even provided a few drinks and snacks to get us started on our trip. With the fishing poles and tackle provided, we caught over 15 fish. The smores kit was such a great surprise. Our kids (big and small) all enjoyed roasting them over the fire with an abundance of wood pre-cut. The game room with glass doors was a HUGE surprise. We rolled up those garage doors when the weather was nice and had so much space to enjoy with our extended family. When it rained, we rolled the doors down and still had so much light in the room yet felt cozy playing games and watching sports. I can’t begin to describe how many outdoor seating spaces this house has surrounding the house. The serenity from the front porch, which overlooks the pond and the beautiful property, is just what we needed for downtime between outings. I highly recommend this property!
