Stayed Jan 3, 2026The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow.

Stayed Nov 21, 2025The house was lovely and, for the most part, as expected. The basics are there, although the shampoo and conditioner bottles were both empty upon arrival. There aren't many extra touches, like side tables near the beds or seating other than the beds in the bedrooms. But the trip was great nonetheless for a long weekend away with the family. We would definitely return. And, the host was responsive when I called which is always a plus.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025We had a great stay at SnowPark cabin! Our family of 4 fit perfectly. It is a cozy space and offers two different deck areas. Downstairs there are two bedrooms (one room has two bunkbeds, the other is a queen bed). Upstairs is the primary bedroom (which also includes a washer/dryer) but only has a half bath. The main level has the only shower/ tub so that is something to be aware of. Located in a great area with easy walking access to the cute little community pond.

Stayed Mar 13, 2025The smores cabin has everything you need for a family trip to the snow. Convenience and comfortable enough for a short stay. Cleanliness was fair. Wasn't too fond of finding mouse droppings in the house but hey, cabin life! The beds and couches were wildly uncomfortable and should be replaced to achieve maximum comfort in this cute rental. We found the upstairs loft room to be very creepy. It could use a lamp or a plant to help eliminate the ghost vibe. Although there were a few things that could be improved upon we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025My family of 4 adults and 2 dogs stayed here for a snowplay weekend getaway for 4 days, 3 nights. It's close to town and the snowplay areas. China Peak is about a 35 min drive.PRO: Good Location, Quiet, Semi-private with wide open yards. Flat driveway. Sun hits the front porch, and it has a nice size back deck with a bbq grill and seating area. Roku TV books and games in common room, woodburning stove, high ceilings. Each room has its own heater and ceiling fan. TV and DVDs and Stack washer/dryer upstairs room. The two bathrooms with TP, handsoap, and bodywash were provided. Kitchen stocked with most kitchen necessities. Microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot. KEURIG, coffee pods, some spices. Electric stove/oven. Dishwasher. Dishwashing liquid and dishwasher pods, sponge, and paper towels bath towels and extra blankets and pillows. Fold out floor cushion and twin air mattress available. Shovels are also available to clear out snow.CON: slow wifi, small tvs, rock hard uncomfortable mattresses, noisy bedframes, only 3-4 dull kitchen knives, no steak knives. Sagging cushions in both sofas. There was no broom available to sweep out tree debris from the deck and/or in the house.I'm glad I brought: our own blanket throws, foil, assorted sizes of ziplock bags, paper plates, plastic utensils, small and large cooler. All the food needed for our stay since there are only a couple local markets and no grocery stores in Shaver Lake. I wish I brought: memory foam mattress toppers,

Besides not being able to sleep well in the hard noisy beds; We did have a decent stay, and Guest equity was on top with their communication via email and text messages.

Stayed Jun 26, 2024This was our first trip to Shaver Lake and we fell in love with the area. Hiking, off-roading, boating, fishing—-we did it all! This property was just as described and we were very comfortable there. We especially liked the long flat driveway since we had our boat and of course the fact that it was dog-friendly was a major factor in selecting it!
