The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse at Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company is a private studio style log cabin located on a quiet 280 acre cattle ranch in Hatch, between Bryce Canyon (25 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins).

The air-conditioned Bunkhouse is newly decorated with ranching antiques and consist of a main room with 1 California King size bed, a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot with coffee provided (no stove or cooking utensils) and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. It sleeps 2 people and is about the size of a large hotel room.
The private deck offers panoramic view across the ranch's pastures (where you will see cattle and horses during the summer), the Sevier River winding through the ranch, and the Hatch valley. A small, shared charcoal BBQ is available for your use outside (charcoal, matches, and lighter fluid not provided).
High speed Internet service (free wifi) and a smart TV are available.

The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located next to the Wranglers Quarters (also sleeps 2 in on California king bed), available for rent via a separate listing. Should you need even more space for your group, you may consider renting the main Ranch House which sleeps 6, The Barn which sleeps 3, or Tack Room or Farriers Quarters which sleep 4 each with full kitchens and are available via separate listings.

You will enjoy a good night rest in eerie silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to!

The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River.

We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for daytrips or restaurants. We speak English, only. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip.

Whether you are looking to explore the natural wonders of the area (the Bunkhouse is located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country) or whether you're an animal lover (there are cattle and horses on the property during the summer, many deer roam the property, you can watch a large array of birds right from the deck, and we have the biggest animal shelter in the US only 45 minutes away),

The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located on the Sevier River Ranch in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.

The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280+ acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there is typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season.

Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter in Cedar City (1 hour). Kanab also has a grocery store 1 hour south on Hwy 89. There are convenience stores located in Hatch during the season and at Todd's Junction 15 minutes south of Hatch.

There is no public transportation. You will need a car - a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Bunkhouse itself.

We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The host's communication was superior and the stay was peaceful and quiet. The cabin decor was cute and the place was comfortable. Great wifi was available, as well.

Stayed at the Ranch Hands Bunkhouse. The reviews were/are on-point. The view from the front porch was spectacular! All l could think of was zen-like calm, people! Like a blanket thrown over the rest of the world, leaving nothing but you, your partner & a humble appreciation of God's glory. The cabin was awfully cozy & clean. The amenities were satisfactory. The property grounds worthy of aimless nature exploration. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The place was cute & cozy. Loved the view from the front of the cabin. However we did have a smaller spider in our bed and also a very large one in the kitchen. I suppose it comes with the territory...but just keep an eye out for them if you stay here!

This was exactly what we were looking for and hoping for. The location is on a working cattle ranch, the views from our room were beautiful! The room had everything we needed, the bed was so comfy. The fridge is tiny but did fit our water bottles and ice cream bars. The only reasons we didn’t give this place a solid 5 is that The toilet was very slow to flush, we had to be very careful with that, and the pillows were beautiful but were so full that they were hard and we had to throw them off and sleep with out. Our only advise is to bring your own pillows for sleeping and enjoy the scenery and peace and quiet.

We really enjoyed the cabin! It had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable. The only issue is my kid loves the ranch so much we had a difficult time getting her off the property to explore the rest of the area!

The cabin was very cozy. The view was beautiful. The host was gracious, and went above and beyond to help us change our reservations. We were especially pleased with how soft the bed and bedding were. The snow falling was a nice final touch.

A very peaceful cabin with everything you need and nothing you don't. Really clean and plush. A great sitting porch for morning coffee and just watch the horses, cow's and deer roam. And you'll find Prarie dog's in the field if you care to walk around and places to sit scattered all around. I will be back to stay longer. The town has meager services so go prepared. Its an easy drive to Bryce canyon and other assorted venues from Hatch, you'll miss nothing.

Good location close to Bryce Canyon. The bed was extremely comfortable. The little coffee shop had great bagels and lattes. There is a little bunny that lives right beside the cabin and saw a large hare running in the field. The cows were sometimes chatty, which was fun to sit on the porch and watch.

The Ranch Hands Bunk House was a perfect place to stay for a couple of days. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We wished we could’ve stayed longer. The night sky looking at stars, the cows mooing in the distance made such a great experience
