Rainy Lake Retreat! Three year old cabin, Lakeview with hot tub and dock!!

Very nice, clean place! The bonus room upstairs was very roomy and perfect for young kids and/or teens. The deck was a great place to eat meals while overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed the house and the peaceful surroundings.

We loved the privacy of the cabin and the fact that it felt rustic yet everything was brand new working condition. The kitchen was accommodating in everyway and had stocked every single item we would need to barbecue or cook. All new appliances!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The views are wonderful, the amenities are all quality.100% recommend this place!

This space was perfect for our family. Our adult kids used the dock space for launching their kayaks. We enjoyed the views from the deck & the dock; the fire pit with plenty of seating was also great. Having two bathrooms is always a plus.

This was our second summer staying at the Rainy Lake Retreat, and it was another great experience! Check-in was simple, the house was clean, and Ryan was responsive when I messaged him with a few questions. He even had some leftover bait in the fridge that he left for us to use! We had two families of four, four kids and four adults, and the house was the perfect size and layout for our needs. This location can’t be beat! We are already planning to book again for Summer 2026!

Great cabin for fishing and exploring the National Park!!

This property is in an excellent location as it was close to a number of resorts with restaurants and amenities to enjoy along with great easy access to hiking trails, beaches and anything else outdoors you may want to do. It was a perfect place to introduce our kids to all that Rainy Lake has to offer.

We wanted to be close to the National Park and this had to be as close as you can get to Rainy Lake Visitor Center - a 3 minute drive! We aren't boaters, but the slip at the dock is a plus for others who are looking for that access. Easy to find and tucked away with other homes in a small tree-filled neighborhood, this place was relaxation at its best. We loved having the sliding doors and windows open for a breeze and to listen to the birds and quaking aspen trees. There are a lot of deer in this area. This cabin though - is almost immaculate. The listing says 2 years old, but I could have thought newer - you can still smell the wood inside. Large open downstairs main room with plenty of seating in the living area, dining table and large kitchen. All of the utensils, cookware and tableware you could need. A junk drawer that was the most useful I've seen in a rental - including a few extra batteries, a fly swatter, tap light screw driver, etc. The main bathroom is large and comfortable, with plenty of linens. Two bedrooms on the first level are adequate, with queen beds and one end table, but not much room for anything else on the sides. Upstairs is a loft with a foosball table, another full bathroom and more beds - perfect for my son. So amazingly clean! Only negative was the well water was very sulfury. I reported that to the owner and he is aware and doing all he can to fix. Don't let that keep you from booking! We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It was a fun time, but there was a horrible oder coming from the drains. It was awful. Good fishing.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was nice to come back to after a day at Voyageurs NP.

We stayed at the cabin with another family and it was perfect. The kids loved the loft area and fishing off the dock. We are already planning on staying again next year.

Rainy Lake Retreat is definitely a retreat! The property is so peaceful and the view is amazing!! We were visiting the area to attend a wedding on Rainy Lake and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!! We had a 5, 12, 17 and a 20 year old and 4 adults and it was comfortable. The boys had the upstairs area which included a foosball table, tv, seating area, beds and a spacious bathroom! The kitchen is huge with a lot of seating!! The communication with the hosts was spot on. I can’t think of one thing we didn’t like!! I would stay there again for sure!! There are also good restaurants nearby so you don’t have to go all the way in to International Falls!! Highly recommend!! Amazing!!

This was an amazing cabin and location! The layout works perfect for your family or group of friends! Kitchen is awesome and has everything you need! Having a full bathroom on both levels is great! Highly recommend checking this out!!

This place is amazing. 2 minutes to the Rainy Lake Visitors Center. House is awesome. Ryan was great. We were there for 3 nights. Went on a fishing, boating hiking excursion with Northern Waters Excursions LLC, which was so much fun and recommended by Ryan. So much to do. But don’t try to do it on your own. Get a guide. Overall a 10/10 experience for all.

We had an amazing time staying here! It was super clean, close to Voyageurs National Park and provided us dock access to do some fishing! We would definitely stay here again! Great memories were made!

Great jump off point for a group of 4. Excellent fishing in mid-June. Clean, newer cabin with everything you need. Flawless check in. We will be back!

Our family of 4 had plenty of room in this quiet, nicely decorated cabin. We were very comfortable here and enjoyed the view of the lake as well as the large deck. There are neighboring homes, but enough space and trees to feel private. When the weather was not ideal to venture outside, we found many games in the cabin to entertain ourselves. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The Rainy Lake Visitors center is only a 3 minute drive away. Groceries in town was about 20 min away. We didn’t utilize the dock, but did walk down to it. Very convenient if bringing or renting a boat.

A beautiful cabin in the woods. The boat launch is right next door to the cabin. The hosts were great with their communication. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit Rainy Lake! Thanks for the wonderful stay.
