An amazing cabin in an incredible spot! We will absolutely be visiting again!
This was such a great place to spend the New Year with friends! We are hoping to make it our spot for years to come!
Beautiful cabin perfect for our annual fall fishing trip with friends from Houston. Well stocked cabin with everything we needed and then some! We landed one salmon to grill for dinner, enjoyed relaxing with the fireplace, fire pit, and yard games. We definitely plan on coming back!
Just a great relaxing place full of nature love the plac
Based on the previous ratings, we knew this would be a great vacation away from it all. Check-in was easy and the cabin was pristine when we arrived. Thoughtful details like a welcome note and a few snacks were some of the nice touches To start the stay off right. The kitchen is well-appointed with housewares and even a few staples. The grill was clean and easy to use as well. Plenty of towels and the bathrooms are clean with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Plenty of hot water too! During our stay, we fished in the river daily (the water wasn’t too cold to be without waders), hung out on the deck, did a few short hikes on the trails, and had a cookout on the fire pit. The AC helped draw out any humidity from the rain but we were lucky to have cool temps so we could leave the windows open (pristine screens kept the bugs out). We did explore Manistee which was a short drive away. Easy to get provisions and such from there and the Dublin General Store. We has planned to do dinner at one of the restaurants one night but in the end, we opted to cookout and just enjoy the property. The WiFi is solid enough we could watch a movie on Netflix one night. However, there is truly no cell service so it’s good to download your directions ahead of time or just use a map to get around. Definitely will be back next year for a longer stay.
Beautiful setting and home. Just what you would picture for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful picture window overlooking the river. Very cute home.
Our group of friends really enjoyed our time at the property. The view of the river was amazing. Thank you!
This place was perfect! We are a bunch of college friends who go canoeing every year on the Pine River. The outside property was amazing. Gorgeous and has plenty of room to play yard games while listening to the river in the background. Great deck and seating areas to hang out with a coffee or cold one. Inside was clean and comfy. Nice sleeping areas and I heard no complaints of sore backs, as you need your rest for canoeing! Best of all was the service provided by our host Matt. We were left instructions and everything was laid out great. Wifi was solid and easy to get on. Best of all, we accidentally left a set of keys in the driveway and Matt was very responsive and helpful in looking for them. Communication was solid all around. Would for sure recommend this place to friends and family. I plan to book it again in the future! Great place to get away and have some peace and quiet!
This rental had everything we needed and more. Very beautiful property with plenty of games, movies, toys, and serenity! We loved our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer.
This place has everything we needed and more! The house was beautiful and the property was very nice. Sitting out on the deck listening to the river while my husband was fishing then grilling some burgers on the BBQ For dinner. We would sit on the deck and enjoy our morning coffee then just relax outside. This place is very spacious but felt very warm. Cannot wait to come back!!
Beautiful cabin. Had everything we needed, and then some. It was a great experience!
Short but sweet, beautiful nature, gorgeous house.I don’t have enough words to express how wonderful everything was.
Super relaxing property. Great views on the river. Rooms were clean and accommodating. Location was near everything we wanted. Would stay again.
We had two groups stay during the course of our week at Rainbow Lodge - the first half was an all guys fishing trip and the second half was a family getaway with two couples and a 5 year-old. This place could not have been more perfect for both groups. The pictures hardly do justice to the tranquil beauty of the views from the deck and picture window. We could see the fish in the river from the window, as well as the bald eagle making it's hunting run each morning and muskrats and turkeys hanging out on the riverside at cocktail hour. Our daughter spent hours watching for new animals and birds and got plenty of new entries in her bird book. There is even a gorgeous up-river view from the grill so you can even enjoy your cooking and fish cleaning time. The furniture and layout was thoughtful and comfortable - lots of great places for everyone to sit and relax. I took more naps in my time there than I have taken in the past 5 years combined. The hosts have truly thought of everything and the place was well stocked with all the listed amenities (including some basic cooking ingredients, like salt, pepper and oil - so nice not to have to bring/buy our own). We were also pleasantly surprised to find a stock of great toys and games that were absolutely perfect for our 5 year-old - she would disappear to the play area downstairs and entertain herself for literally hours at a time, and there were outdoor games like bags, horseshoes and jenga for us to play outside together by the fire pit. For future stays, I thought that the river was a little fast for me to feel comfortable putting in a paddleboard, but a kayak would probably be great. It was too fast (and too cold this time of year) for swimming, but I imagine that might be different in the summer. Also, there is virtually no cell service there (we had verizon), but the internet worked great, so we didn't really feel the lack. I truly can't say enough good things about our experience and I'm sure we'll be back! Thanks for the wonderful memories!
Great place, cozy and relaxing. Very thoughtfully prepared for guests.
