Deck the hot tub was on was rotting. Air conditioning was held in window by wood. The Cabin was just what we were looking for our hiking adventures in the area. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing at the end of our days. The cabin is perfect if you are looking for a place to lay your head down after enjoying nature in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms small but everything we needed.

Owner was very accommodating and property was very clean and ready for guests.

It was great had a family emergency. It really didn’t get to use it a whole lot.

Our stay was perfect. The house was simple with everything we needed. It was perfect for a weekend away to just tuck ourselves away on the mountain. The hot tub was fantastic after a cold day out! You will want all wheel/4 wheel drive to get to it. Troy, the host was fantastic. Very responsive and attentive…not that we were in need of anything but he was available if we did. The starlink worked great! Had no connectivity issues at all and was able to stay in touch with family back home. If your looking for a nice, simple getaway for you and your loved one…don’t need all the bells and whistles of something fancy but has everything you need to be comfortable while staying close to town, I recommend it. We will definitely be back!

Pretty outdated. Stains on blinds and in the shower. A lot smaller than we anticipated. It was secluded which was nice.

My experience was incredible! The views of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking, and the hot tub on the deck is an ideal place to unwind and take in the landscape. The cabin is incredibly cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are inviting, and the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The location of the Ridgetop Retreat is ideal for discovering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Bryson City. The property owner, Troy was warm and welcoming, always ready to lend a helping hand and offered valuable information about the area. I felt very at ease in his presence and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations together.

Overall the property was okay. The driveway is difficult to navigate you have to put the car in low and floor it. We arrived 10 minutes before check in time and the house keeper was still cleaning the property, she was really sweet but didn't finish until 4:20 it was disappointing that it was not ready at 4. She did a great job and it was really clean. The hot tub had so much chlorine it bleached our swimwear. The grill was brand new and worked beautifully. The property was okay for the cost and had fabulous views.

It was exactly what we expected. Secluded and quiet. The driveway was a little tricky but we knew it would be a challenge in advance. Overall we had a great weekend recharging ourselves.

My husband and our two daughters stayed in this house while on vacation. It was tiny but perfect for a small family. The hot tub was wonderful and smelled clean. The house was also very clean. Definitely recommend staying!

Everything was user friendly. Location was just a short drive to downtown Bryson City. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the quiet

This was a decent place to stay the only issues I had were problems getting up the driveway took us 2 hours the first night getting up the driveway due to fresh gravel, the jeep kept slipping on the rocks, the other issue I had was the only heat in the house was a space heater which was okay just because we were in one room but if y ok had to stay in the other room you would freeze My wife and I had chlorine burns from way to much chlorine in the hot tub. There was the last people who stayed trash in the yard

The hot tub, located just outside, was an absolute highlight—so relaxing and perfect after a day of exploring.While the AC wasn’t working upon our arrival, the ceiling fans kept the rooms comfortably cool, and there was a portable heater available as well. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful, which made the experience even better.If you’re looking for an affordable, cozy spot for a mountain vacation, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend!

Overall it was a good stay and convenient to Bryson City. The view was amazing and the cabin was welcoming.

Place was just what we were looking for

The little cabin is in a great location. Far enough in the woods to not hear cars on the main road and so you can enjoy the scenery, but only 15 minutes from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center! We took a night ride on the Polar Express while we were in town, and it was nice to take a quick ride back to the cabin afterwards! The property owner, Troy, was very nice and responsive…and my kids loved meeting Ranger, Troy’s very sweet German Shepherd! The hot tub was a plus and, overall, we had a great stay in the mountains!

A very cozy cabin nestled in the mountain. Perfect for what we needed for the fall weekend. The view of the mountain from the deck is beautiful and a clear night sky. The host is absolutely wonderful. Close to Bryson City, Sylva, and Cherokee.

The vacation overall was so much fun! The owner was very helpful with instructions on how to get to the house and when needed. The house was very cozy! We were only an hour from Tennessee and the sight seeing was BEAUTIFUL!! The drive way was super nerve racking if you’ve never been to the mountains before so it was great to know that you can Door Dash if needed!! We definitely enjoyed our stay here!!

Excellent stay for a getaway, close to Bryson city and Cherokee, with plenty of trails and store all within 30mins from here makes it a great location plus you have a hot tub and view to come back to after a long hike or day in gatlinburg

I enjoyed it so much. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It felt like you were in the trees. The host Mr. Snow was nice and had everything ready for our stay when we arrived.

Overall cleanliness could've been better. Had to clean the kitchen floor when 1st arrived. Rugs needed to be vacuumed. No blind or curtain on main entrance door. You could tell something use to cover the window by the holes. All other windows had blinds. Bath towels and wash clothes had a light scent of cigarette odor. Never saw but kept hearing something run across the floor after we went to bed, possibly a mouse??? Location was very quiet.

This property was in a good location for day trip to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. It was good for what we needed. Cleaning could of been a better. It was nothing major but the rug in bedroom should just be tossed and some dusting. Also, more than 3 towels for 2 people for a weekend considering the hot tube usage as well. I would consider staying here again.
