Quiet Comfortable Cabin 5 Min. Walk to Swimming and Boating

The property was very clean and neat. Well stocked with kitchen and personsl items. Instrcutions for everything were available.

The cabin was very clean and perfect for a mid-week getaway. It rained so we didn’t get to the water. In the first hour there a very Large black Bear ambled by the back desk. My husband decided to cook the burgers indoors!

This small cabin in the woods was surprisingly and delightfully well-appointed. Everything we needed was there, plus many conveniences we did not expect. We had our dog, and there were some beautiful places to walk, a large, comfortable couch with couch-size blankets to protect it. There was a surprise cold front (15 degrees!), but the cabin was toasty with plenty of human blankets laying around for even more warmth. Nice kitchen, plenty of extra large, fluffy towels in bathroom, comfy beds with extra blankets, some space heaters, and cabin was attractive with newer stuff throughout. Because it was so cold, we stayed in longer than planned, but there was great internet and many TV options. Just a very nice place and we had a wonderful time.

This was a beautiful and quiet home away from home. Was a perfect place to recharge.

It was a beautiful, cozy cabin in the woods, as advertised. Updated, newly renovated inside with gorgeous wood paneling, a loft, wood stove, and fire pit. The host provided anything we would need, even skewers for s'mores! Very clean.

The cutest little cabin.. fully stocked with the essentials. Very clean and had an awesome rustic modern vibe..very close to many trails.

We got there and all the sheets and towels were still in a pile by the washer. No detergent for washing. Dirty dishes in the sink. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Rotting food in the fridge and the host didn’t reply to my messages. When I tried to call it wasn’t their number, just the Vrbo customer service line. They weren’t able to get ahold of them either so we had to just leave.

The check in was easy. The check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. The kitchen was well stocked.

The cabin was well stocked and a welcome bottle of wine had been left. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. However my friend said that the bed in the second bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable. It may be more appropriate for a family with kids.

This was a delight! The charming, rustic exterior belies the clean, modern interior. This tiny house had all the essentials and more. The decor was comfortable and smart looking. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with all the necessities. Plates and flatware were all of one matching set rather than a mix-and-match of whatever was acquired from local yard sales. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The surrounding neighborhood was wooded and peaceful. We hope to return for a long weekend sometime. This was a great way to end two weeks on the road!

Very Quiet Stay!

This was such a cozy getaway! Very excellent location for day trips to so many lovely Berkshire attractions and sites. We had a lovely stay - and especially loved the front porch on one of our rain days!

Awesome hotel alterntive to launch off and enjoy all this area has to offer. Cabin was immaculate, well stocked and comfortable. Communication with owner and check in super easy. Located a little off the beaten path, very dark at night but nice to have houses sprinkled around this charming lake area. 20 minutes to several charming towns, dining and hiking trails/area attraction

Very cute cabin surrounded by trees. Great to be able to cook in your well equipped kitchen with the option to bbq outside if you wanted. Loved the evenings around the firepit. Enjoyed having the kitchen extras, loads of towels (for swimming too ) and the use of Bose speaker.

A friend and I stayed for the weekend to attend a Capullo retreat day. This location was 30 minutes from the facility and the perfect spot to spend a lovely weekend. It is minutes to the lake and a very private location. There’s a little stream running through the backyard With a lovely deck out back and a perfect screened in porch in the front. There is everything you need at the location, linens, all the kitchen equipment you need to cook, and the house is newly renovated and very well kept. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone that is looking for a house to spend time in a beautiful location in the woods. On our way out on Sunday we stopped and took a wonderful hike near a waterfall. It was absolutely beautiful. I do also want to put a kind word in for the owner of this property. They adjusted our schedule when we had made a mistake in booking and was so easy-going and lovely to work with. So, I definitely give this host five stars!

The house was small, cozy and even had a small stream that ran through the backyard and under the deck. It had everything we needed. A bigger TV in the living room but definitely be a big upgrade but that isn't the end of the world. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay! The cabin appears to be recently renovated with modern appliances and furnishings. We got quite a bit of snow during our stay, and someone came to plow the driveway for us. A well-stocked kitchen was also helpful while we were snowed in! The cabin is close to Canterbury Farm, which we loved for cross country skiing, and close to Lee for restaurants and shopping. The host answered our questions quickly!

The cabin is quiet, tidy, and comfortable. It is within driving distance of several hiking trails and was a great place to spend a long weekend. The host was friendly and communicative, and made sure that we had everything we needed for a nice stay.

My stay was shorter than I had planned but the few days I was here was so relaxing. First of all, the bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby. Very quiet area. Nice to walk around with my dogs and explore. The cottage was nicely outfitted with any needs you might have. Beautiful time of year to stay here! I cannot wait to go back. I also want to say I appreciate that they allowed my two dogs. My dogs are very well behaved, and I travel with them quite often. Not all places allow this, so I did appreciate this. It made my stay here more enjoyable. Till next time.

This cabin was comfortable and well equipped. The big advantage was the nearby opportunities for walks and swimming. There's also a great breakfast/lunch restaurant/store less than 5 minutes away by car.

This place was just what me and my two besties needed! It was very quiet and peaceful, and the screened in porch was just lovely. It might have felt crowded with more than three people, though. Everything worked well and the place is well-equipped.

The cottage was perfect for us two. It’s so quiet in Sherwood Forest. Great area to bike, kayak and walk. Very peaceful. So close to Jacob’s Pillow, such a treasure. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking ware. Sherwood Shoppe, just a mile up the road, is a treat for breakfast, coffee, good low key hospitality. Highly recommend.

The house was very comfortable. Updated kitchen, bathroom, convenient washer and dryer. Big living room L-sofa. Online description was a little deceptive. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an excellent stay at this lovely little cottage. All was as advertised and it was a great place to hang out during the times the weather was uncooperative; especially since the screen porch stayed dry. The place seemed freshly renovated. We expect to be back.

Loved everything about the cabin. It looks a bit dated from outside but very modern and convenient inside. Everything important is there and working, no clutter, very clean. The lake is perfect!
