Stayed Sep 1, 2025We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and much better than expected. It’s in a quiet, relaxing setting, perfectly located near hiking trails and the lake Whatcom. Liz is a fantastic host, great communications and provided clear, helpful instructions. A experience all around—highly recommended!

Stayed Aug 22, 2025Fantastic! The kitchen has everything to cook/bake for a group. The location is convenient and quiet. The lay out works well for a group with a mix of night owls and early birds. There are a lot of stairs in the home but they were easily navigated by the elder in our group. The nearby nature trails were a peaceful treat!

Stayed Jul 20, 2025The house was great. One negative was that the sheets on one bed were damp when we went to bed and the towels were damp so we had to dry them prior to use.

Stayed May 25, 2024We had a great two night stay. The home was exactly as described and easy to access. My children enjoyed exploring the trees outside. The rooms were clean and cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The views of trees out of the windows is fantastic. It had everything we needed.

Stayed Sep 14, 2021This was such a lovely home to stay in during our trip to Bellingham. Even though the home is on a residential street, it feels very private because of all of the surrounding trees. It's about a 20 minute drive to the center of Bellingham, so close enough that you can spend time in town every day, if you want, but also a peaceful place to get away from it all when you want. The driveway is a bit daunting, but you can avoid it completely by parking on the street & using the stairs. There was a storm & power outage while we were there, which resulted in the darkest, quietest, most peaceful night of sleep we've had in a long time. Definitely recommend!

Stayed Sep 12, 2021We were in the area for a golf tournament our granddaughter was playing in. The house is very comfortable and well fitted out. The kitchen worked great and the living room was a great place to hang out. We appreciated the lack of TV and media in the main living area, which contributed to the feell of getting away from it all!
