We enjoyed the hot tub.our kiddo was disappointed that there was no fire pit. Making s’mores was his number one goal—so it let us down in that regard. I would review the kitchen the kitchen equipment. I’m used to cheap items in rentals but this was sparse. We were missing pot holders and something to bake on. We loved the hot tub and pool table.

We got exactly what we expected. The view was amazing, the cabin was clean and excellent. 10 minute drive down roads with no traffic to get to Helen but we only left to eat because the cabin was so great.Check in was easy, host called to check on us, absolutely no issues. We will definitely be staying again.

Close to Alpine Helen as well as some beautiful waterfalls, state parks, and hiking trails. Only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Purpleaire. Enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. The house was comfortable and the hot tub was a nice way to relax. The owner was sweet to check on us. My only thing I would say is the bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. It definitely sank in the middle and might benefit from a new mattress - my husband didn’t seem to mind though lol. Other than that we had no complain. We enjoyed sightseeing, hiking and having fog fun in the city of Helen. Highly recommend the trip.

Each year, my spouse and I visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. During our most recent stay, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine and an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location - close to Helen, hiking trails, and waterfalls - with a spectacular view of the mountains. Even tho there are other homes and cabins nearby, because of the trees, you can't see them and it feels very private and secluded. The outdoor hot tub was great! We found the bed to be uncomfortable (needs a new mattress); there were no directions on how to connect the 3 TVs to Dish; there was only 1 pool cue; and it seemed tacky that they put out a tip envelope for the cleaning crew despite us having already paid $145 in cleaning fees and being required to strip the bedsheets at the end of our stay. You don't get daily maid service in a rental cabin so why the tip envelope? Also, the control panel on the indoor spa tub (bedroom) doesn't work - missing one button and the other 4 buttons don't do anything. Despite those issues, we had a lovely time and would recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway. Perfect for 2 people. There is a hide-a-bed couch on the bottom floor but not much privacy there - maybe ok for kids but not adults.
