Enjoyed all! Tks!
This is a great cabin for a family or framily. Located near the base on Big Mountain, everything is s short trip in the car from skiing, downtown or the lake. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for! Keli and Paul were great to work with and made all the logistics super easy for us. Cabin was clean and well organized for all our needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Whitefish!
This home is awesome. It is perfectly located just outside Whitefish and in a secluded setting. It has everything you need. We had deer outside the house, and a little fawn with its spots. We enjoyed our stay immensely, thank you Keli and Paul!
This cabin in Whitefish is the best cabin we have ever rented for a vacation close to nature. The location, the property, the view, the cabin itself, so clean, spacious, well-equipped with everything you need for restful and adventuresome holiday. Glacier National Park is close by for hiking and the activities. In Whitefish and the area there are some wonderful hiking trails. The town of Whitefish offers a variety of shops and places to eat. Even if you choose this cabin as a get away for rest, silence and solitude in nature, I would highly recommend it. We did not meet the owners personally, but they provided everything we needed in the cabin. The kitchen was marvelous and have everything we needed to prepare meals, even a web grille. The owners provide all kinds of information regarding restaurants, hiking trails, other places of interest. The gave us their cell numbers in case of emergency or special needs. They were hospitable and it showed their genuine interest in sharing their cabin and providing a place for people to enjoy the beauty of nature. So, if you can, I highly recommend this cabin.
Great location for exploring the GNP area. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Will stay again!
Wow. What a special place! We came to Montana to see Glacier with our two sons ages 14 and 10 as well as my in laws. My in laws commented over and over what a wonderful vacation home we found with absolutely everything we could need. My kids loved their cozy little beds in our room and the home was perfect for the six of us. The house was spotless, well appointed and had everything we needed. Keli was just a text away if we had any issues. The house was about a thirty minute drive or so from Glacier; but an easy drive and we didn't feel it was too far away. Whitefish was a great little town to stay in and roam around. There were great places to eat and shop. We had no issues finding the home from the airport and with Keli's permission, we were allowed to enter the house a little earlier. The grocery store was just a short distance away, yet the home was isolated from the hustle and bustle of a city. We loved the view of the forest from our little perch on the mountain. Keli was very responsive helping me with issues I had with VRBO and being patient with that situation. She made sure that everything went smoothly for us. She has a first class place. We loved it! Thanks for a great stay!
This was our family of 5's first visit to Whitefish, and we could have stayed longer. Keli and Paul were excellent to work with as we made our arrangements; they're very knowledgeable about the area and were very helpful with our trip planning. The cabin was beautiful and modern; very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had plenty of room for all of the family, including our 3 children who are adult/teens. Safeway was about 5 minutes from the cabin, and Costco in Kalispell only 15 minutes away, so groceries were easy (although we enjoyed the restaurants in the area, too). During the days we enjoyed exploring the town (great galleries and shops), the beaches and the lake, and the ski hill (mountain biking, aerial park and alpine slide) - all only a 5 minute drive from the cabin. Our son enjoyed a visit to Whitefish's skate park to test the new skateboard that he purchased in Kalispell. The cabin is also very well-located for those wanting to experience day trips to the spectacular Glacier National Park. The Logan Pass Visitor Centre was only about an hour's drive away, along the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road. The evenings were cool and it was great to enjoy relaxing on the deck. Whitefish is a wonderful place and we would love to stay in Keli and Paul's Stumptown Lodge again (maybe for a winter ski-holiday). Highly recommended!
This was our second time staying at Keli and Paul's cabin in the woods, and it was just as great as our first. Very clean and comfortable, great size for a family of 4. The wood burning fireplace is always a highlight after a great day of skiing. Close proximity to the mountain, and also close proximity to town. Nothing is really more than a 5 minute car ride away.
This was our first visit to Montana and we could not have picked a more perfect place to make our home base. The Chalet was comfortable, clean, and very well appointed. Sitting on the deck in the morning and evening was pure heaven. The living spaces were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with more pots, pans, dishes and utensils than I have at home. We went to GNP several times, explored the downtown Whitefish area and went to the aerial adventure park at Whitefish Mountain. Having a comfortable place to come home to and unwind was perfect. Keli was so easy to work with and she was very responsive to any questions that we had. The chalet being less than 30 minutes from the airport is terrific. We would definitely come back again.
What a wonderful place! This home is truly lovely, and in a perfect location. We enjoyed being so close to Whitefish, yet secluded in a quiet natural setting. We saw deer outside the kitchen window almost every morning. We spent a lot of time in Glacier NP and at the end of our stay, we were a little sad that we hadn't allocated more time to just enjoy the house. For summer visitors, we highly recommend the Walk in the Treetops tour at the ski resort and the huckleberry ice cream at Sweet Peaks. We were there during a heat wave, but the house was completely comfortable. The house was very clean and well-appointed, and Keli was super nice to work with. This was our first visit to Montana, and we will definitely be back!
