Incredible location in the redwoods. The cabin is brand new and very comfortable. It is the perfect place to use as a home base to explore the Redwoods or simply to retreat to a private cabin amongst gorgeous trees. It is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We plan to return and highly recommend this stay.
A unique experience. It was super quiet clean and well maintained. Away from everything.
It was a nice place to get away, but the cabim had a distinct mildew smell. We tried airing the cabin oit but it did not help. We later noticed mold growong on the outside roofing of the cabin, near the door area. The pan provided for cooking had a handle that was so loose it was almost fallong off, which we were able to fix ourselves. The area was nice and the overall cleanliness of the cabin was great, but the mold/mildew sotuation was concerning.
Loved the area and newness/cleanliness of the cabin. But, it needed rugs, lamps, and character for that homey feel. Also needed Wifi and a TV. The shelf in the kitchen with the microwave was way to high to reach as was the showerhead.
Beautiful forested setting, cute small house, well equiped. It seemed to be away from any restaurants or attractions but we got there after dark and left early so it may be tgere were closer than we thought. This was a serene location and a newer property.
One of the best places we’ve stayed! Super clean and exactly what we were looking for!
Great spot to stop for the night during our road trip. All the things we look for: aesthetically pleasing decor, fresh and clean, kitchenette, and plenty room for my husband and I. Good sized bathroom, hot showers, cute living room area. There's a separate bedroom from the living room so it was nice to have some coffee while your significant other can sleep undisturbed. They do a great job cleaning between bookings. The place still had a faint but pleasing disinfectant smell when we arrived. It's the perfect forrest getaway with most of amenities of home. Minus the wifi, but we both got cell connection (AT&T and Verizon) fine. It's located right next to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State park. We had arrived to the area a little early, so the host (who happened to be on site at the time) recommended we drive down the 1/4 to have lunch (bring your own) by the river and or the picnic area (well worth the $8 parking). Will definitely stay again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I was worried that the other cabins would be too close and have little privacy, but I was wrong!! The cabin was tucked in the beautiful trees, cushioned with the local foliage of ferns. It was truly perfectly nestled, quiet, and so peaceful. I would recommend this as the ideal place if you want a retreat in nature to recharge your internal battery. We only booked one night, but I wish we had stayed longer. It was healing and therapeutic!
This Cabin was everything and more than what we expected! The owner was so nice and informative. Would recommend to anyone and everyone
We stayed at this cabin one night during our travel through Redwood NP. The place was clean and had nice outdoor hangout area among the tall redwoods. It's about 15 min drive to Jedediah Smith and about the same to Crescent City with several places to eat. Great location! I would recommend to check this out!
Beautiful setting
Simply fabulous- everything I dream of in a cabin in the mountains
This cabin is nestled amongst majestic Redwoods. We enjoyed our peaceful stay.
I rented a one bedroom cabin, arranged among other semi-hidden cabins in the same development. It is a real nice place, with trees and ferns all around. The cabins are new and very clean. Mine had lots of windows all around, a nice kitchenette with a nice selection of items. The cabin is furnished and decorated in a sparse fashion, but this allows the wonderful surround of redwoods to predominate. The bath had hot water, the bedroom was comfortable and cozy. Two minor detracting details; there isn't very much storage, and the traffic on the nearby highway can be heard, but it is muffled inside cabin. Also no TV, but who needs it?
Great location for hiking in Jedediah smith redwoods! Private cabin, good hot water. Lacking in cleanliness. Wifi would be helpful since cell reception is spotty.
Such a beautiful property with coastal redwoods. Great new cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. Thankyou!
Loved our stay this past summer, it was gorgeous to be amongst the redwoods.
Beautiful location, private and secluded. It would have been nice to have loft access, as that space was not utilized. Brand new cabins, that seem very cookie-cutter, but well-built. We enjoyed the front porch area, and glad our dogs could enjoy a small outdoor space (leashed). Some cons: Bed felt old and over-used. 'Pet-friendly' was a little misleading, as some air b&bs provide couch covers, dog towels, and special bed sheets so that the fur pals can also feel at home. This goes a long way. Over-all, location was top notch, and the space was clean and new (minus the bed).
Very clean, new A-Frame in the Redwoods. Everything was clean, from towels to flooring. Located about 15 minutes from Crescent City. Great location for hikes in Redwoods
This cabin was an absolute dream. We loved sitting on the porch and being completely immersed in the Redwoods. The cabin has big windows so you can see all around and a picnic table in the back. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.
Couldn't be better. I'm already planning my next trip back, to stay longer. Super clean, comfortable bed, fluffy towels. Amazing to wake up surrounded by lush greenery.
There were 3 of us staying in the cabin tucked in a lovely setting in the woods between Hwy 197 and a golf course. The cabin appears relatively new and the location was very convenient to the redwoods trails in Jedediah Smith State Park. The bed was very comfy with plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen has the bare essentials for breakfast including coffee, but not tea or salt/pepper. The cabin has a heat/air conditioning unit that took us a day to fully understand that it can also dehumidify, which was essential, as the cabin got incredibly humid. Instructions for this air system would have been helpful along with a boot tray for muddy, wet shoes after hiking in the woods (we left our shoes outside). Overall a nice place.
The place is beautiful. There are redwoods all around the cabin. It truly is secluded. Had I looked carefully, I would have seen that there is no TV and no Internet. That made for some incredibly peaceful nights, but... in 2022, those things (especially Internet) are often vital to a traveler's lifestyle. Nevertheless, this is in an amazingly gorgeous location.
Great spot in the redwoods to relax and unplug. It was very clean. The Wi-Fi was better than I expected. I didn’t realize when I booked it that there was no TV. I wish we had brought some cards or a game.
