This cabin was spotless and well maintained, which we immediately fell in love with. It was equipped with all the necessities of a home. The peaceful setting made it the ideal retreat where we could truly unwind and enjoy the serenity and beauty of nature. The whole process from booking to check-out was smooth with the clear communication from the host.

One of our most favorite places now!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the cabin. Lots of wildlife, nature, fresh air. Close to Fredericksburg. We cooked most nights and had what we needed. The bed was comfortable, nice to have rocking chairs on the porch to enjoy the setting and sunsets. Owners might look into updating the shower heads so they don't spray everywhere. Hot tub was not functioning when we were there.

The location of this cabin is great - not too far out of town, and about 1/2 mile from Pecan Grove Store, evening entertainment very close by. We enjoyed the porch looking over the field, and many attributes of the cabin. Many birds, including a Caracara! The kitchen was well-furnished for cooking. It was clean and neatly decorated.My only big issue was that entry was through the bathroom. It was very odd, especially if you were using the restroom and someone walks through from outside. Also, the shower hardware needs to be maintained - the handle fell off on me during my shower, and the shower heads were not optimal for comfort. With a few adjustments, this would be a great weekend getaway place.

A great few days, first class property and great location. Literally 15 minutes from Enchanted Rock State Park and 5 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg. Very peaceful setting, with amazing deer, birds, and a very wise Longhorn.

The property itself was lovely. Perfect location just outside Fredericksburg for our first family vacation with our baby. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We loved waking up to animals every morning and beautiful Texas sunsets. The only negative is it was a little difficult to get in touch with the owner. We got in late and were confused how to check in and couldn’t get in contact with them and when we Messaged them that we were checking out early because we were concerned about the fire we never heard back which was strange. Overall, we loved this property though and would definitely come back! We had a great time!

We were so excited for this stay but were overall disappointed in the experience. The property had all the amenities listed but was not in the best condition. The sunset view from the back porch was great, but the outdoor chairs were all covered in bird scat, so it was difficult to enjoy. The shower has 2 heads that spray in all different directions and the drain was backing up with both of them running. The queen size bed had nice bedding but was hard as a rock and was difficult to get good rest on. The floors were dirty and dusty and corners of the rental had cobwebs. The 1 ply toilet paper was a little underwhelming as well. There were several lights out and the lighting was dim which made it difficult for my wife to do her makeup. The air conditioner also seemed to have a mind of its own and did not seem to keep a good set temp. The place did have a full kitchen and the coffee was fantastic and all the appliances worked well. We also enjoyed how secluded the place was and there were deer so close and it was fantastic to see them.

Thank you for such a beautiful experience and getaway. Its hard to add much more to whats already been said however this is a true gem. The scenery, nature, wildlife, peace and quiet was all memorable and enjoyable. The accommodations were excellent and the sunsets while sitting on the back porch....priceless. We will definitely be back.

We wanted a peaceful place to spend our 10th anniversary and I'm so glad we booked here. This was exactly what we were looking for, just a short drive into Fredericksburg to experience the charm of that sweet town. But we would come back and relax on the porch and enjoy the sunset and stillness this cabin offered. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife and enjoyed the calm surroundings. We definitely would stay here again.

The property is phenomenal and an easy drive into Fredericksburg or Enchanted Rock!

Exceeded all expectations, very relaxing.

The place was perfect! Clean and perfect. We had a great time away from the everyday life and we were able to relax unwind.
