The privacy of the cabin, which is a single unit, was perfect to make this feel like a true getaway. The hot tub was the cherry on top after a long day of...relaxing and drinking a little wine! Make sure you make some time to walk the labyrinth. Right before dusk was a magical time and we saw many resident deer. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our trip overall. We loved seeing the deer right off the back porch, but you need to bring your own corn. We had 13 does and 2 bucks one day eating up the corn we left them. They seem to be pretty tame. If I could change one thing, it would be the rainfall shower head that is about 2 feet too tall and having a hand held shower head to rinse with is desperately needed instead of a red solo cup. Hubby complained of bed but I slept fine with four back surgeries and a back of Titanium from top to bottom. I couldn't figure out the filtering system of hot tub unless they empty it after each guest since there is no filter. Water appeared nice and clear along with jets and I am OCD about cleanliness. I did have to sweep the floor when we arrived, and call for more towels and garbage bags, but they took care of it right away. We would stay again, maybe check out another cabin next visit. The keeper of the cabin was great about taking care of our needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was to celebrate my husband’s birthday and have a relaxing weekend getaway. Our only “musts” were a hot tub and king size bed. The cabin was very clean and cute upon arrival. It was a little bigger than other cabins we have stayed in before so that was a nice surprise. It felt like we were far out in the country but we were only 8 mins from Main Street which was super nice. We took others suggestions and bought some deer corn at HEB. We had some amazing interactions with wildlife and deer watching. It was huge added bonus. The hot tub was great as well. My only complaint would be the mattress. It wasn’t very comfortable and probably has met its limit of life. Time to replace it. That’s the only reason for 4 stars. Other than that we are excited to return again in the future.

My spouse and I stayed here for a long weekend. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It’s cuter in person! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire place very much, and enjoyed seeing the many deer in the backyard. We hope to return soon.

Our mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, views of the hills and deer was just what we needed to relax from big city life. After a long day of shopping and walking, we got to return to our cottage to a hot tub. Can’t wait to come back.

The property was very clean, quiet and had a lot of beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay and the location. We were just a few moments from town but could have been a thousand miles away. There was a great breeze each morning on the back porch and we enjoyed our coffee and watching the deer and humming birds. The cabin is perfect for two people very private and comfortable.
